Tasks: Astrid To-Do List Clone

Great app. Love the extra color theme. Could you please add a functionality when swiping left/right would switch between the lists? That would make the app much easier to use with one hand. Reaching that hamburger menu with one hand is almost impossible on large screen phones.

Just an excellent app. Does everything I need and is very flexible.

It's great, I've been searching for a very long time for an app that has all the features for my GTD system and doesn't rely on subscriptions. While you should definitely help keep this app alive with your donations, I can't recommend the dash clock Integration in-app-purchase, because it doesn't actually show the tasks, just the number of tasks which is kinda pointless. I'd love for the dev to make a little widget that just shows you the most important/urgent tasks. It'd also be cool if you could change the color of the window thing that Pops up when you swipe across the screen and shows the lists / tags etc. I'm a real sucker for color customisation, so I'd definitely pay extra to change the color of lists, tags, filters and tasks.

This is a great app simple and effective. I would only features that I would suggest would be an "add new task" widget/button or the option to do so on the current widget and nested tasks.

The best task app by far. And it is GPLed. Simple and alarms are persistent.

The more I used this app the more I fell in love with it. I would like to see the ability to set alarm notification, say, x days/hours before before due date.

Updating my 2016 review. It is. Almost 2018 and it is still solid and actively maintained. It would do with a visual overhaul though, but I understand it's hard to keep up with ever changing android design.

After upgrading to the latest version, using the date selector will crash the app.

This was a nice app erlier but now the reminder alarm doesn't ring at the stipulated time. The reminder start ringing only when you open the app. So what's the use of this task based app when it's not reminding us on time

Good app, but the latest verion broke the notifications and now shows me a notification number on the app symbol for tasks due way in the future.

Wish I could see a preview line of the task description under it's title..

I love it but I can't get subtasks to work after most recent update - sort by "custom order with subtasks" just gives a flat list in the wrong order, though it appears in order with subtasks online. Any ideas?

Not google keep nor Microsoft onenote and other products cant show you ur to do lists like this thing. The fully customizable widget is a total monster. I even use this thing instead of using calendar because u can link ur todo lists to specific time. There is nice categorization and much more little things u learn when u use this.

Superb app! Really saddened when Astrid was closed down but pleased and appreciate a copy has been born. To do items can be hidden until a certain date is really good to stop visible list being too crowded. Syncing with Google is a bonus making migration between phones simple.

Very pleased... moved from iOS to Android and missed my Todo list with calendar integration. Found this app to work exceptionally well with Google calendar; neat, clean, great UI, no ads...keep up the good work.

This app is pretty great in general, but what's up with the notifications? Why can I only choose between "vibrate 3 times for way too long" and "never vibrate at all"? Why can't it just make a sound if the phone is set to loud or vibrate ONCE if it is in vibrate mode, like any other app ever??

I'm surprised that it took me so long to find this after Astrid shut down. By far my fovorite task list. It's consistent and reliable about date tracking, has nice folder arrangement and tagging, and can even randomly remind me of things on my list so they don't completely fall of my radar.

The best Tasks only app that has no annoying ads and syncs seamlessly with Gmail. Keep it live and don't fall into the false thinking that if you add more features it will be better or more successful. It is great as is, light in resources, easy to use, and bug free. Simple is beautiful, Thank you.

This app is great in-app, but not so great in the notifications shade and in terms of the widget. Notifications are dismissed only by marking a task complete or snoozing - which is unrealistic in a good day. Moreover the widget doesn't show due dates or comments, unlike the ancient Tasks app (made by the same people as Timely, the precursor of the Android stock clock and alarm app).

Love this app. I checked out 15 different calendar and Todo apps and this was my favorite. No annoying ads and runs flawlessly. So many standard features. Puts other similar apps to shame. Hope developer keeps adding features.

Used to be good. Doesn't sync anymore and deletes backups when uninstalled, so I'm not even going to bother trying to reinstall to see if it fixes the glitches.

Doesn't alert on correct day. I've used Astrid for quite some time and it alerted on the time and day I set it to. This was set to alert on Wed. It alerted Sunday, no where near close. Uninstalled

Doesn't do anything! Least intuitive app ever, and no help available! Totally worthless, but you can't give 0 stars!

Not sure why recurring tasks don't have checkboxes, or why I get 10:30 pm reminders for a 4 am task. I also have not found a way to add multiple tasks quickly.

It's a pity that Astrid ended but this app is the best next thing. It's not coincidence since the original source code was the same. That you for continuing support this excellent app.

This has always been my to do app since Astrid's demise. I don't plan to switch but could you please add more reliable syncing? When I change phones, I've noticed that the recurring tasks all come out wonky and attachments, notes etc. are removed. Edit: the syncing issue seems to be fixed now, but now on a OnePlus 5, the notifications appear once and then disappear immediately. Tasks are still shown as incomplete but the notifications do not show up in the status bar or lock screen.

A great open source Tasks app. This app is perfect for my usage case. Flexible reminders for tasks, the best snooze function in any task app I've used, good widgets, easy tagging of different tasks and priorities, sync with Google Tasks and many other features for free that other apps charge for. I don't need any of the extras you can donate for, but bought the themes to support development as I use the app daily. Highly recommended.

Very good, simple useful. I just miss pop up notifications or possibility to turn them on for some tasks.

According to TrendMicro, this app uses "Dangerous Permission Management" and cannot protect sensitive information due to poorly designed permissions! :(
