Breathe2Relax is a portable stress management tool which provides detailed information on the effects of stress on the body and instructions and practice exercises to help users learn the stress management skill called diaphragmatic breathing.Breathing exercises have been documented to decrease the body’s ‘fight-or-flight’ (stress) response, and help with mood stabilization, anger control, and anxiety management. logical & uncomplicated (enjoy 'tech' anatomy video & illustration graphics) makes this tool about me - useful and so much appreciated. also comprehensive - data log enables tracking progress and trends, very useful. missed hold/pause phases between inhale/exhale sequences - those would be welcome improvement (ref 'Tactical Breather' app version?). thanks

I like the app for sure but there are a couple things I'd like to see fixed. Having the ability to choose your own music is one. Being able to choose a longer session so I don't have to keep restarting it. Prevent screen timeout does not work. My most critical comment is for the end of the session. The soothing voice is good throughout but when it's time to bring you back, the volume jumps up and throws off the whole vibe. So again I start over. Please fix it so maybe it gradually comes up or is the same volume as the breathing track. On a side note, I could get into Sleep Sounds- Empower your mind as one of the music tracks.

Good app with easy to understand instructions both written and recorded. Very good simple explanation of the the sympathetic nervous system with minimal jargon. Good selection of relaxation music. Some suggestions: 1) different language options 2) increased brightness on the toolbars and clickable icons 3) activation via your recorded voice 4) stress levels should be able to be measured several times a day

App keeps stopping when screen times out or if the phone is switched from vertical to horizontal. I'd give a better rating if this were to be fixed.

My therapist recommended this app and it's a great tool for me when I have anxiety attacks! It taught me how to properly breathe through my stomach and it's been a huge help

Restarts when screen rotates and sometimes when the screen turns off (which it does despite the setting telling it not to). This is supposed to help with stress? I'm more stressed using it!

Definetely seems like they've put a lot of work into this. New features like the tips, the instructinal video. Very interesting. App works without a hitch on my up to date galaxy s5. Cudos.

Absolutely love this app. Works perfectly. Wish you could insert your own music track. Update: Was great, now nothing works right. Screen times out even though set not to, background won't stay set, cycles skip... Very disappointed now. Please fix. Update 6/9/16: Everything FINALLY seems to be working again. This is a daily part of my life. Thank you!

I like the application very much, but the "prevent screen timeout" function does not work. My screen times out and the breathing exercises stop functioning until i swipe the screen or pick up the phone again. Also, portions of the body scan screen is hidden with no way to scroll down to see the rest. I love the voice and visuals and custom breathing settings.

This is my favorite go-to app to immediately relieve stress. It is very simple and amazingly effective. For a lasting effect, use it 2-3 times a day, I would suggest. I am under serious stress for health reasons, and this immediately helps me assert control.

If the person who is in control of any corner of this world, they need to get the rats up from out of their diets, and let the oxygen and light from the one and Only Creator, be their guidance through the process of life. Happiness is the result of the outlook one has of the world, and hate is the demon most likely to have the harbores by religion, racism, sexism, and all other reasons fools need to be the one I know won't make it to see the here after.

This is a very great app for breathing and reducing stress it helps me and for all the features including guided help I love it. The screen timeout feature will not work right and the phone locks in the middle sessions.

I am not sure when the app was updated, but I tried it again after several months and it looks like they finally fixed the issues of the prevent screen time out not working and not having your chosen preferences stick (music, backgrounds, inhalation/exhale times etc). I can finally update my 1 star rating back to 4 for right now. 7/8

I like using this app when I feel a bit anxious, helps calm things down. Would be nice for option for pauses between the inhale / exhale cycles

Voice commands allow you to take your eyes off screen. Make sure your phone doesn't go into sleep mode, ironically. It doesn't keep the screen active. Great app, though.
