[ROOT] Protect My Privacy for Android

thanks for the update. but it seems that the update crashes every now and then. i m running on my HTC one m8 lollipop system less root. thanks again for the hard work you have done.
Much more simple to use than XPrivacy, but has so many annoyances. First of all, it seems to have trouble remembering your previous choices, and keep asking you about the same apps & over the same permissions. And if you have global deny settings, it will pop up to tell you about it * every* time; while there is no way to deny all third-party add-ons like Flurry before they are run. And it's ridiculous how many times "PMP has Stopped" for v2.3.0-1 !! If it doesn't crash it lags your phone after a day!
I couldn't get it to start at first but, After the update it's up and running. I think it needs more detail explaining the options.
I would like to be able to hide the "PMP is running.." icon and still having the "ask for permission" notifications :-P
Cruel ratings. But thus did mess up my GPS locations. Couldnt unbind fake location. Solid app to remove audio focus however.
Right after the initial terms of use dialogue, the app closes and I get the "Unfortinately, PMP has stopped" toast
Unable to open got error unfortunately pmp has stopped working please solution
I tried this as an alternative to XPrivacy. It works fairly well on my S2 Tab tablet, but is problematic on my S7 Edge phone. For one thing, Google Maps on the S7E is sometimes fed a fake location, even though I haven't configured PMP to pass a fake location to anything. Other times, Google Maps shows my true location. I don't suffer from this problem on the tablet. PMP permissions are also less fine-grained than in XPrivacy and there's no way to get a good overview of which permissions have been restricted for which apps. There's a visual representation of which apps have which permissions, but it doesn't allow filtering by permission or batch modification. I'll follow the development of this module to see where it goes, but for the time being, XPrivacy, although more or less at the end of its development at this point, is still the definitive privacy manager for rooted Android devices.

I installed this, enabled it in Xposed and rebooted to setup the app. Looks good and simple. But when I enabled fake location for apps like maps & windyty, opened them, they showed my location exactly on the map and not the fake location. So I set the permissions to deny for location for these apps and restarted them after deleting all their data. Still they show my location exactly. obviously this app isn't working to fake or deny my location. I wouldn't trust it on other permissions as well.
