Calculator ++ for Android
The new update is terrible. I can no longer use my vars and funcs quickly. The ui takes up an unnecessarily large space on my small tablet. The graph increments by unusable numbers, and the axes are scaleable on the separate axes. The 3d graph constantly spinning and you can't stop it. Please at least let us have settings to change these. This was the best calculator app before.
The fastest, most compact, user friendly calculator. suggestions: The history is too accurate; only save on pressing clear. Operators and delete should encapsulate everything highlighted (such as square root(HL) or (HL) +...) and inputs should replace the selection. Then swiping across the input should immediately highlight to speed up selection. (this would make the calculator way faster). Finally, add used variables to facilitate entering the same expressions in an equation.
So many great little QoL features I never knew I wanted. Only reason it's not five stars is the secondary button functions can be a bit fiddly, but by no means a deal breaker. If you're looking for an awesome calc, you've found it.
*BUG REPORT* Don't know if it's a bug or oversight when coding, but i noticed you can't convert negative temperatures using the conversion tool.. 0 is the lowest temperature you can convert.. It also doesn't seem to use PEMDAS rules while typing equations like other calculator apps let you do.. For some reason my device doesn't seem to come with a calculator, and this app seems to do a lot for its apk size so i decided to go with this. I've only used it for basic functionality but it seems to work fine so far.. I do wish it had similar functionality as stock that lets me swipe left/right to switch between basic and advanced .though
Number formats do not match examples. Decimal numbers stay in decimal format even when engineering or scientific is selected. Didn't have the problem when I first used it 2 years ago. Very frustrating.
Really top notch software. An excellent balance of usability and complexity with a VERY well thought-out interface. I use this frequently for back-of-the-envelope engineering calculations in the lab and almost always come up with an answer before anyone else.
Was a great app before. Now, no matter what mode I'm in, I can't get a value higher than 99,999 before it switches into scientific exponent format which is absurd. Basically makes it useless to me for now. Hopefully this can be fixed.
If you're a math, science, or engineering major, this calculator is perfect! While simplistic, the drag select method enables the user to use all the features on the same screen. Furthermore, it provides numerous and customizable functions and constants and graphing features. Too good to be free!
The calculator uses a text marker, so my phone opens the keyboard everytime i go to my desktop, while the widget is on there. This is very annoying and needs a fix! Otherwise i love this calculator!
I like some things about this calculator. The drag shortcuts are good. But all the buttons are in stupid places - the equals key for example, the previous calculation isn't automatically cleared, functions are hard to find, and it has no ANS key. All this makes it super fiddly to use and recursive calculations are impossible. It's just way too impractical.
Probably one of the more feature loaded calculators out there with a sleek interface. The only thing I'd like to see is equation view (where rational expressions and the like are shown as actual rationals, one part over the other), and a scrollable answer window instead of a separate history window. But these are minor. As a calculator, it more than does the job.
It shows a weird curve above y-axis for negative x-values, a strange behavior which undermines my confidence in correctness of all calculations and plots
A scientific calculator that's made for a touchscreen interface. I no longer have to pick between an easy interface that I have to swipe between screens with and one that has all advanced options on one screen (a la a physical scientific calculator).
Calculator with all the tools I could ask for, not only does it look extremely good, work very well and have features like 3d graph plotting, it's also free. Very good app, thank you!
Not quite as powerful as it seems I was hoping that there would be functions that could loop with conditionals. The swipe user interface is difficult to use compaired to a press hold and select type. No eqn solving that I could find. The plotting is ok but no max or min, no intercepts displayed, the 3d looks cool but not very useful.
Love the calculator and all it can do. All it needs now is the animation when you do a delete action. Then it would be perfect. Even though it is perfect without it. It does so much. Best calculator ever!
This calculator blows all others out of the water. It's just awesome, and free! The swipe controls are amazing, even more efficient than an actual physical calculator!!
THE BEST freestyle math calculator!!! Symbolic Entry + Instant calculation!!! Other ESSENTIAL features it has: 1.) Proper parentheses support WITH graduated grey-scale shading for nested sets. 2.) Multi-function buttons allowing for scientific notation to be handled without additional menus. 3.) Nice history (though either a configurable keypress activity threshold or a default of 2 seconds would go a long way towards eliminating entry-noise in the history i.e EVERY keypress is needlessly recorded.
I really loved the old one. I can expand or compress a graph easily. No need to delete every single old graph one by one so that I can draw a new one. But now, it has downgraded.
This app lost its ability to plot imaginary curves as it used to plot it in lower versions. If the new plotter could plot equations like x^2+y^2=1 rather than plotting expressions like √(1-x^2) then it will be great
Easily the best Android calculator I've found to date. Multi-mode interfaces support most users with particular emphasis for general purpose users (basic mode) as well as those needing of more complex functionality (vis-á-vis engineering/scientific mode). While Google's Android calculator (it's newest iteration of it, that is) probably takes the cake when it comes to intuitive UI and usability, its absence of the higher-order functionality many require explains my ranking.
The best calculator that I've found so far. The quick access to buttons via swiping is great and makes entering calculations faster. Things that would make it better: the ability to add my own conversions and to display formulas in textbook format.
Advanced enough for me and once you get used to the swiping it is much faster to use than most of the other calculator apps!
Once you get used to the interface, you'll never want to use any other calculator.
The most robust, clean, and useful calculator app I've ever used. It has a unit converter and allows for custom functions. It even has a 3-D function plotter!
It has most-all the scientific calculator functions you need, and it looks great! Also how the function keys work is both intuitive and quick :)
Great calculator with a very navigable, user-friendly interface that is capable of a variety applications, ranging from simple calculations to more advanced, multivariate dimensional plotting. One great feature this has which I haven't noticed from other calculator apps, is the ability to set the precision up to 15 digits.
Does everything I need it to and more. Function plotting could be a bit more advanced (plotting implicit equations), but as it stands, I'm perfectly satisfied with all of the features this app has. The custom functions and variables are perfect, and the library of calculus functions makes life easier.
Haven't even bothered to find another calculator app for years since I found this one. Windowed mode is fantastic. Thanks for a great app!
A really nice calculator! I like the speedup of the 3d graph rendering, but I miss the option from previous versions where you could select to plot both the real and complex values of a function at once. Still, 3d graphs in my phone ftw!
La mejor y más completa calculadora en Android. Totalmente recomendable, debería aparecer antes en la búsqueda.
Why the wizard starts every time I open my calculator++ app?I am sick of setting up my preferences again and again.
Takes a little getting used to but this is the best free calculator I've used so far. Used this in my Calc I, II, III, and Differential Equations classes. I've tried the TI-83 emulator, which works good, but it's a little cumbersome having to flip through all the screens without having a fully functional touchscreen layout. Big plus to this calculator is it almost completely eliminated that. Only downside I've noticed is that it uses a little more battery than I'd like. All in all....GREAT APP!
Very efficient programmable calculator: original, ingenious interface, especially innovative sweeping keys. But PLEASE help us with an user instructions manual, or send us a link to Help Web page! Instructions, please.
I wrote this... f24((sin(x)+cos (x)), x, 2, 4) and nothing happened... .. Plz help... Without limits it worked perfect . But with limits...how to proceed ?Also where is equation solver... And matrix solver ?

This is the best calculator for Android. so useful and easy. I love the option of add new formula.
Hands down blows away the competition with its premium features and floating window mode.
It's fast, sleek, and has plenty of features all readily accessible thanks to its clever press-and-drag interactions. All in all it's just a great app!

Beats other calculators with features and interface. No statistical functions though. Function programming is great except there's no way to export/import/backup functions. Bugs: 2^2^2^2^2=infinity but √(2^2^2^2)^2^2=4 294 967 296. «Numbers are copy/pasted with spaces. 4 functions don't have descriptions. I lost a bunch of functions I'd made (an error message is displayed every startup) - I'm guessing because either they had digits in the name or because they used other functions?
