About Skin Monitor: check your moles
Monitor skin changes such as suspicious moles, rashes, wounds, etc. You can take a photo of the spot, mark its position on the body and then take a series of close-up photos of the same spot at subsequent times. SkinMonitor uses objects of known size (e.g. coins) to calibrate the spot's dimensions and thus allows for direct comparison of spot's close-up photos (the evolution of the spot).
IMPORTANT: Please read the instructions inside the app to obtain the best results. Also, don't expect any numerical quantification of skin spots (like instant ABCDE evaluation which is common in other skin apps), since it is useless and can only harm you.
The evolution of a spot can have direct medical implications:
- rapidly growing skin mole may be a sign of melanoma, a dangerous type of cancer
- appearance and growth of rashes might indicate food allergy
- sudden change of a healing wound may be a sign of an infection

Finally a skin monitoring app that works without Internet access and remote accounts. The photos are stored in standard jpg format in the SkinMonitor folder on your phone so no problems with backing them up or re-using them without the app. Feature request: Zoom is editable but moving the location marker doesn't seem to be once it is set. Would it be possible to make that editable as well. I’d like to add external photos to the app by copying them over existing photos in the SkinMonitor folder without having to edit the location data manually. This would make it easier to use this app with photos from sources other than the phone camera.

This is great app for keeping track of my moles. The results are consistent unlike in many other apps that I have tested.

Nice so far! Wish there was a manual camera focus because pics are hard to get at first. Otherwise love the layout of keeping track of suspicious spots.
