About Digital Envelope Pro
Secure your private messages! Ad-Free!
Digital Envelope Pro requires NO special permissions for EXTRA secure processing. The application is not "allowed" access to files, network, cellular and the like. This ensures a more secure environment to process your extra private texts.
Sending a plain text email or text message is like putting a postcard in the mail: the mailman and anyone else can read it. If you want to keep your message private, you put it in an envelope. Digital Envelope creates a digital envelope to keep your messages private, be they email, text, or instant messages. With just a few quick clicks, your message can be sealed (or unsealed) and shared to your other apps. Communicate your personal information with peace of mind, knowing it was sent in a secure envelope.
There are multiple methods available for creating and sending seals, and the method you choose will impact the overall security of your correspondence.
Here are some suggestions, in the order of least secure to most:
-Password
-Strong password incorporating caps, lower case letters, numbers and special characters
-Click the "+" button and Digital Envelope will randomly generates strong password for you
-Copy and paste text from online into the "seal" field.
-Scan a bar-code our QR code. Digital Envelope will automatically encrypt the inputs into a key when you seal the envelope. You can then share this seal easily by communicating with the recipient what product you scanned.
Because Digital Envelope does all of the encrypting directly on your device, and because it sends both the seal and the envelope straight from your device to the messaging systems of your choice, not through our own messaging service, we never come in contact with your data. And, because Digital Envelope doesn't save any data in the app on your device (not your messages, seals or envelopes), there is minimal opportunity for your information to fall into the wrong hands. The drawback is that Digital Envelope cannot aid in recovering a lost seal, message or envelope. They are always deleted immediately after sharing or closing the app.
