Fresco Paint Pro for Android
use to love it, but since android/samsung ditched the menu key (which sucks), the menu on this app is non reachable.
New to digital painting. This app is easy to learn and navigate. Really like it a lot and looking forward to more.
good comercial, basic app, Dont have Pressure-sensitive!
This app was great, until I upgraded my phone. Now I am missing the button that accesses many of the functions, such as I can no longer import pictures. I can no longer access filters. I simply cannot access the functions without the button that accesses them. I will delete this bad review if the functions are added on the tool list on the bottom like the brush and layers are.
I can't save the inage or export them to my gallery. My options button (Samsung device, left of the home button) takes you to recent history rather than the options in the actual app. Please add a button to go to options, and add more layers if possible.
Free apps can do more. Also abandonware - not updated since 2012.
Hasn't been updated for a couple years
This is my personal favorite painting app for my note 3. I love the brushes. Its one of the only lag free drawing program for the note 3. I tired corel, clover paint and sketchbook. But they all lag on this phone. So im gonna stick with this app.
i have to use accessibility work around to access most of the features, id stopped using it because i couldnt figure out how to import
If we could add more then 4 layers that would make this the best painting app I've seen. And get greater resolution on images
All brushes same size when adjust brush size. No option to keep all brush settings separate. Alot of options etc missing. Not intuitive. Alot more i dont like too much to mention! Other than that there are a few positives.
It would be better if you could share your drawings through hangouts and gmail.
I've used this app for a long time, and really the only thing I can ask for is MORE LAYERS! Overall great app though- totally worth the money.
But needs more layers
I love this app
But needs more layers, a blending tool and filters otherwise its amazing
Simple, easy to learn and powerful. Have used it on my galaxy s5 for over a year. I use it about 2-4 hours per week, I would guess. Really love it. I like it's simplicity more than autodesk sketch pro. However, really, really wish the developer would update the program and give us more layers. If it provided, say 10 layers... Would give it five stars.
It kept crashing that I had to reinstall it..okay. Please add more layers?
So far I like this a lot. Would get 5 stars if it had a blending brush.
Not sensitive as sketchbook pro. Don't waste your money.
Very little here, not worth it at all.
With layers fine drawing & painting tools, this is a must have for artists of all ranges. A stylus for touchpad is a + for precision. Wacom digitizer(Note series) really makes the difference. I kept one from an old 12" Toshiba tablet, and set it up to connect via USB(windows only) and have even more digitizer then my Note 3.
Fresco is fast and easy to use. Drawing feels natural. Includes a nice set of filters as well.

Very productive drawing and photo editing app.
...it should have a mirroring function. Then it would be perfect!
The best
every drawing I make gets saved fine but when I load it later everything is black. I don't recommend it for this phone.
..seems user friendly! ! ! (x-MoToDroidRAZr)

Great app, needs multiple delete option. Love the app though:)
Easy to use with little effort
Thanks for a cool app.
Can't follow quick strokes well.
Not quite Art Rage for the Ipad, but the best Android art app hands down. I try to stick to free apps only. Was so impressed with this one that I had to go pro...no regrets. Thanks for making a really great art app. Kicks SketchBook's tucus, as this one is more intuitive. Make a true landscape mode for tablets please for five stars. I give it 4.5 as is.
I bought SBM but it crash all the when selecting colors palette but this works fine and really really good. but drawing in tiny phone with finger is kinda painful, does anyone know a good stylus for android phone? most of the stylus have large tip and doesn't really work well on screen, even worse than fingre. 5 for dev!
I love this app. Very clean and simple interface but this app is not simplistic. Brushes are expressive, easy to adjust, and this app makes it easy to get good results. There are a couple of features I'd love to have (landscape support, more undos, custom brushes, randomness variation for brush size, and maybe something that simulates pressure.) All in all though, it's good enough to warrant five stars.
Completely Changed My Mind. When I first used Fresco I absolutely detested it! The design was pretty, but it just felt cheap and didn't have much to offer my needs. And I thought it was using other apps names like Sketchbook Pro to sell itself, and I still don't think it's as good as Sketchbook Pro, but I must say, after coming back and trying the app out after quite a few months, well I'm really impressed now. I'm glad to retract my earlier review because it seems Sean has put a whole lot more work into the app and I love the new brushes. Plus, out of all the awesome drawing apps I own, Fresco has by far the most advanced zoom feature that I've ever used in a mobile drawing app. I haven't gone back and tried this out on my tablet yet, but I'm hoping it supports landscape mode on my tablet. But yeah, I'm pretty impressed with how far this app has advanced, and considering how high my standards are for drawing/painting apps, that is saying a lot. I'm now looking forward to see what gets added next. HTC Rezound 2.3.4
Autodesk Sketchbook Pro has way more features then Fresco. I have both installed on my tablet along with many other sketch/paint apps. A comparison between Sketchbook and Fresco would be unfair since Sketchbook is so feature rich. In my opinion, Fresco provides two features that make it better than the rest. One is that it gives the artist a more natural experience, and the other is a sensible workflow. That's what makes it my "go to" app.
