About MarsClock

MarsClock is an alarm clock that lets you see times for all three of NASA's Mars rovers -- Spirit, Opportunity, and Curiosity. You can also set alarms in Mars time, either as one-shot alarms or as alarms that will repeat every sol (that is, every Martian day).

This app is released for free by a rover driver on NASA's Mars missions. Enjoy it!

What's Changed
Version 1.2: Unlike the other rovers, Curiosity's base time was influenced by your local time zone -- so Curiosity time was correct if you happened to live in PDT, but otherwise incorrect. Sorry about that! You might need to reset any Curiosity-time alarms.

Makes so much easier to know what time at Mars right now for the Rovers. I will not forget everything Spirit has done on Mars. Rest in peace.

This is too cool. Must have been made so the rover driver could adjust his sleep schedule to accomodate 24.66 hour mars days. I want your job!! Cant wait till curiosity starts rolling!

Great app. If only the time zone on my phone would one day be the same as Spirit or Oppy.

Nice little tool. Going to alarm page causes crash on my 3-yr old phone (HTC Hero, 2.1) but I don't need that anyway.

The only thing that would make this geeks heart flutter even more is if there were a season indicator. I would love to know when the seasons change. :-)

If I am looking at this correctly the times are how long each has been on mars. At this time curiosity had been on mars for just over an hour but app shows 19+ hours... Disappointed.

Love how simple, and to the point, it is so far. Could you make a digital clock widget that allows us to choose either rover's time? (Along with the size of the widget) Thanks!

The app is great and pretty well designed. Some improvements might be to customize the colours or add a widget to place on the home screen
