as stated to use 3g put in ur public ip address in preferences. then port forward 8080 to the internal ip address of the specific reciever and it works just fine

This is simply the greatest app on my phone. I NEVER LOSE THE REMOTE!!!!! Just call my cell and there it is! Its also an excellent prank on friends!

Always works on all devices. Been using for a year now on 4 devices and never had an issue.

I am pleaaed with the gui. It looks just like the factory remote. Some functions are limited or non-existent, but for the most part the apearence and functionality are more than adequate. My only wish is that there would be an app for the TV to control volume etc.

Have been using this remote program for a month now and find it to operate exactly as represented. Would be nice however, to integrate a tv remote with at least a on/off and volumn, or maybe a button that links to a t/v remote program. We certainly do want a lot though don't we. It would have received 5 stars, "but for this one small thing". I know, however, that I'm being picky and very expectant.

Outstanding App!!! I am able to use this app with both my directv box.

The app connects with our receivers easily. Good to be able to have the ability to control our receivers when we are not in front of them.

Let's hope DTV doesn't interfere with recording listings .

i was very mad when i couldnt conect to my direct tv box i tried to do it manulley but i dont know where to find the address thing

When I updates it deleted my ability to see the recordings list

Great full remote or simple "On Now" screen , just add fave channels and scroll to see whats on.
