It does nothing but tell me it cannot establish location. You cannot search by state or resteraunt. Let me know whe you fix it.

Really want to use this to make informed choices on where to eat. But even though it advertises having national chain data, I can't find it unless I select one of the metro areas that are nowhere near me. Would be nice if the user could search for a restaurant by name. The developers could use the results to target future research. Eagerly awaiting enhancements!

I don't even live near any of these cities! :(

Still very limited in locations. I wonder about rural restaurant locations where poverty is very high also. This app needs much more work!

// , It's basically a shell around a database, but it does the job nicely.

Will give 5 stars once additional stars as data base grows to more areas. My question is how well can ratings for city, say New Orleans, apply to other southern cities? This could be a very powerful app for change with ability to post to Twitter.

I guess I'm just in too small a town. I know we have tons of big name fast food places that are on this app. We have 3 subways right on the corner. And we have a red Robins at the nearest mall. Burger kind Wendy's and McDonald's up the bum. Yet nothing shows up on the map. So it kinda sucks.

Was excited to hear about this app, but it's all but useless for anyone outside of a select few big cities. Worse, some information appears to be incorrect such as docking points for low tipped wages in quick serve restaurants that don't have tipped employees.

Sounds like a neat idea, but doesn't have Minneapolis.

Doesn't cover Seattle,,, or very many places actually, but seems like a good idea.

I'm excited about this app, but they should focus a bit more on gender discrimination and not just race

It doesn't recognize Nashville. Or many other major cities across the country. It's too select. Where's the national database...? Please update!!!

Why didn't someone think of this earlier. Restaurant reviews should all include information about how workers are paid and treated. Good work!

I care not only about organic and local sourcing, but also about how the staff is treated. I am glad that this app exists to find restaurants that provide paid sick leave and living wages. Thanks!

I have to admit that I never thought about going so in depth with restaurants I attend but now its a good feeling to know "behind the scene" . Love it!

This app is outstanding! Now I have the power to make informed decisions about where to spend my dollars and.vote with my wallet that restaurant workers deserve better working conditions.

Hi, This is a really interesting app - shares info on working conditions for lots of restaurant chains and local restaurants in some major cities. Plus you can send tweets to restaurants telling them to improve their working conditions - so its part educational & part activist tool, which is great. Excited to see them add new restaurants to the database! Surprised by some of the restaurants I see in here - props to Tom Collichio for his great workplace standards.

While others have rated this app on it's idea/goal it seems like none of them actually used it and may be schill reviews or over enthusiastic people about the lofty goals of this app. Idea is great, but execution is abysmal. I could only find one restaurant on the map within 30 miles of me - I live in a very major metropolitan area with about 2 million+ population. OK so I can forgive the lack of local content (they aren't in my area I guess?) but worse is the UI. There is no way to filter restaurants within XX miles, there is no way to filter restaurants based on food type, price, nothing. Even when you go into list view to see a list of the names of restaurants it doesn't do that by any location - since at the top is a place called 'witchcraft (with the ' mark that puts it at the top), restaurant is approx 300+ miles away, and the next one on the list is 7-11 about 90 miles away.

The app helps you find ethical restaurants in certain major cities. It works great in Miami for example. Can't wait for even more restaurant data!

C'mon folks if there's anywhere that needs it desperately, it's St. Louis, MO. Most places legally can pay their "tipped" workers about $1.83 per hour! I made that as a tipped waiter in 1978!

App only has select cities, when it comes to Portland, OR I'll redownload.

There is nothing wrong with having an app to direct you to the cheapest and tastiest food. But there is everything right with an app that directs you to restaurants that pay their workers sick days.and have attainable equal work oppurtunities for all their workers. #preach

V70%

I love the idea, but it fails in execution. It tells me that Chicago has NO Higher Ground restaurants and I know that's incorrect. I so want this to work.

T70%
by T####:

Functionality is lacking and ratings provide a distorted view for some restaurants. First, why haven't the gps location and list sorting issues been fixed yet? Second, I think the average user will not understand the wage ratings are only talking about base hourly wages. ROC is getting some great press lately (good job Saru). I hope that at least the functionality is fixed before too many consumers download app.
