GPS Distance Meter

I use it for long range shooting, it's great and replaces expensive laser range finders. Just wish you could switch between yards/meters. I also wonder if it measures line of sight distance or distance laterally.

Please consider adding functionality to save a route and view it on a map. Using Google Satelite images would be extremely useful. Also, when receiving a phone call, this app resets and the route is lost. This is rather annoying.

But simple is what I need some times.

As others have noted, the app is hindered by randomly resetting the distance, and no option to do so when desired.

When it lost GPS connection it lost all details of my run. This is no use to me.

When app goes in back ground..it stops counting abruptly..and Internet required...Not Happy..suggest me your competitor app name so I will use it..

It was off a couple yards at 100 yards. Still off the same couple yards at 200. Was using it on my home shooting range. Would be plenty accurate for a walker-runner. Really it was plenty accurate for me. O yeah, had to play with the sensitivity setting cuz at first it was way off. But that was covered in the directions.

There is a problem with this, if your GPS connection drops, then the distance is reset - I've found I need to keep checking this every 3-4 minutes in case of a disconnect and then keep a running tally in my head - this app could be improved by just keeping a log of the distances recorded in case you lose your GPS connection.

But simple is what I need some times.

I really didn't like this app at all. It only measures distance and speed Wen the app is open. I can't b on other apps on my phone or texting. Not worth the download.
