Q-Ticketing for Android
Used it for transportation to Astros game with family. Super easy to use and loved how you can buy multiple tickets for multiple people in your party.
Love!
Still crap. They told me that they will not be able to give me a refund or repost my tickets because it has happened to many times. That is clearly stealing. Use your card an register it so you can get your passes back. Metro are robbers period.
Just keep your phone charged In addition to my bus card I keep a few of these passes on hand they always come in handy
Rely heavily on NewMetro sytem and never lets down ....great work Houston !!!
Excellent
Convenient way to pay. It's a little too easy to activate a second ticket, sometimes from my pocket. Provide a way for me to make this harder, like a second Are You Sure prompt.
They dont care. If you lose your tickets when you change phones. Thats why is one of the worst services in the country
It won't let me check out and pay.
Q Ticketing Metro... love this app!
I use this app all the time and I have had several bus drivers that were clueless but didn't give me any hassle. I also have a 12 month old son so they usually don't give me to many problems. The only thing I don't like is that u can't transfer tickets u buy between phones. I have recently went through 3 phones and I buy 5-6 tickets at a time. Now I have 3 phones with a total of 8-10 tickets on them.
This is a great app, and for somebody who always looses their Q card. I would give it a 5 star if it wasn't for the 3$min.
I love the apps and everyone there, too. Thanks Houston Metro Bus and Rail! Super-Duper!
When will there be a update to where we can put money on our cards we already have from this app ?
By far the best way to ride Metro
Works good
I wish I could link the card and multiple mobile devices to one account. The $3 minim gets costly when you need to purchase tickets for several family members.
This app is only good for infrequent riders. Tourists.....no help to the people who actually ride daily
I have downloaded the app and l don't want to use it unless I know for sure how the process works when I get on the bus. I use this transportation strictly for work and l don't want to be late or enter an altercation due to a flawed process and have unusable tickets. Because some drivers will not let you ride if they feel that you are trying to ride for free. I would like a smooth process before I choose to purchase my rides this way in the near future or could there be an option to put funds on your q card
I have had two bus drivers yell at me this morning because: a) they didn't know what to do b) it didn't scan at the Q code machine (if that is what it's supposed to do, fix the app!). I tried tapping the screen to scan it, then pulling up the QR code (though i don't see how either of that would have worked). But they both finally let me on when i kept showing them that i bought a ticket with the time on it. ADD SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS on the website and in the app of what to do when you get on the bus!!
I've used this app several times with no isssues. Bus drivers seem fine with it. The app has limited functionality, but it works.
I should be able to just buy one pair ticket. Not have a $3 minimum.
Bus driver didn't know what the app was. UX is not intuitive. Over charges.
it says error with some numbers attached error- 103
The app is good, which is good because my debit card was stolen so this is the only other way to pay right now, but it won't let me buy a tickey unless I may 3.00 minimum which I cannot because I don't make enough money right now to pay that everytime I have to go to the store etc. Please of you could? I think I can pay regular online but I have no phone service without wifi so unless the driver/train accepts a screenshot I cannot use the site :( thank you anyways though.
Its feb. 26, officially 3 days prior to official launch of this app & the operator of bus 3499 route 46 southbound at 5:30pm is still clueless as to what this is. His white mustache turned into the outline of a scowl like i was trying to scam a free ride. Just wondering how many more driver are still in the dark about it!. So watch out if you use this.
I have not had any problems with it and it is so convenient. Love not having to worry about tapping a Q Card when I board a bus or train.
They only have local bus fares available on this app. When I arrived at the P&R this morning the Qcard machine was down. Update the app to include those fares as well.

I have been using this app since I was approved as a tester... but the drivers have no info about this new way to pay.. I always end up explaining them what it is... I just smile and say "you don't know anything about this?"... it's embarrassing having to explain them about this...
I love this app. ....easy and convenient. ....no cards. ..but the drivers need to be informed of this app
Really helpful for someone have a busy life
It's good for a brand new app

The overall quality of the app is nice with the design being just fine for its purpose. The $3 minimum purchase is what makes the app useless for riders who don't ride often. Metro makes enough money to lower that minimum to allow all riders to not have buy $3 worth of tickets for a single ride.
