About Remotestick
Note: Due to lack of time to maintain this app I have decided to give it out for free. Remotestick was released back in 2011. Since then, the Android eco system has evolved quite a bit and to make this app justice a remake is needed. Until that happens, Remotestick will remain free of charge. Thank you all for supporting the app!
Remotestick lets you remotely control lights and other electronics as well as monitor sensors from your phone.
Requires a Telldus Tellstick with Telldus Live! activated. Please read more about Telldus and the different Tellsticks at http://telldus.com. Obviously, you will also need additional hardware to control and/or monitor. Please see Telldus site for compatible devices, http://telldus.com/products/compability.
✓ Control lights, radiators or other electronics (called devices)
✓ Add devices to groups for easier control
✓ Create scenarios to control a set of devices individually in one go
✓ Schedule a device to be controlled at a specific time or at sunset/sunrise (Requires Tellstick Net)
✓ Read sensor values
✓ Background monitoring of sensors and graphs
✓ Easier and faster control by using a floor plan view
✓ Create even more complex scenarios with sensors and devices using Tasker or Locale
✓ Access devices and sensor from your homescreen with widgets
✓ Control a set of devices by holding your NFC enabled device in front of an NFC tag
A Tellstick is used to communicate with wireless consumer electronics on the band 433MHz (European standard). When activating a Telldus Live! account the Tellstick is getting accessible by Remotestick through Internet.

Works just fine. A little bit unintuitive when it comes to dimming etc. (long press), and it should be updated to Material Design which is easy using AppCompat. And yes, you can answer small questions in Google Play Developer Console. Greetings from a fellow developer.

In my network I'm picking up disturbances in the form of random sensors which show up in the interface. Would it be possible to add an option to hide all devices that do not have a name associated?

Love it! I just have three wishes: add ability to donate to the dev, fix "can't use scenes with Tasker" and take use of the Android backup thing to back up scenes and other settings.

Lovely! Want sorting of the switches though. Alphabetic, own sorting etc. Also, logging for switches would be nice

The app is slow, and gets stuck alot. Had to reinstall the app to get any lights to turn on or off. Old UI. The Tasker integration is great, the lights turn on when I come home and turn off when I leave. Adding groups in tasker does not work right. Slow loading on app. This could maybe be fixed with some offline cache? Floorplan does not work great in landscape.

The application works but when its so buggy and got random crashes its a nightmare to work with. Trying to place devices on the map feels more random than logic. Ages between updates.

RemoteStick is an excellent App. Have been using it for approx a week now and I have not experienced any problems so far. I do however miss some functionalities, so I'll add the fifth star when Im able to edit both Scheduels and Scenarios. :-)

A couple of points: * UI a bit un-intuitive. Clicking next to the lamp to dim? What about some options? I want a slider next to each button for easy dimming. * My net is slow, Tellstick Live! takes a while when used from this app. What about wifi-only mode? I would be okay with having to install some kind of server.

Nicely made app with lots of possibilities. One wish though. possibility to set preferences: default action when pressing dimmer button to dim, not just on/off.
