B'Metronome for Android
This app was praised for its simplicity? It has many useless features! What is the point of the random tempo feature? Changing tempi is extremely clumsy. This app can't do the simplest things well while doing many pointless other things.
I loved it, especially that you can change the sample used for the ticks. The only thing that ruined it for me was that you can't deactivate the swipe up/down to change tempo feature since I am trying to sync my music which requires me to swipe down to access my notifications panel. Please make an option to deactivate and I'll change my rating to 5 stars.
It's concise. I do wish that it could indicate the down beat. And maybe more volume control (even on my PA it's hard to hear over fast drums with guitars)
Hands down the best metronome for Android. Only thing I would add is a function for subdivisions including odd groupings like 5 and 7. Thank you very much for this app!
Great and simplistic. I love I can customize the buttons. I'm a skating rink organist and we have 9 specific tempos that we play at, so having all of those custom on the main screen is great! I just wish there were a visible aspect and a tone that could signify the first beat in a measure.
This is very nearly my ideal simple metronome—when I need something more complicated, there are other metronomes I can use, but when all I need is a beat ticking in the background this is the best I've found. The default tick sound sounds like a real metronome (as I recall, that was the point) and it runs smoothly and evenly as a persistent background app while I use my drone app (TTuner) in the foreground. The one feature I would request (and I'll submit email feedback about this) is merely convenience: I want either the default settings to be the standard numbers from a metronome, not multiples of five, or to have the ability in the settings panel to set it that way without having to look it up :P It's a small thing, but given the number of times I install apps (because I like to play with custom ROMs), it's an annoying thing to have to set each time! Along with this, I'd like to be able to set the grid in a way that isn't necessarily a square.
This app is the perfect metronome. With the tap feature serving as easy tempo identification and loud, crisp metronome sound options, this is perfect for composing or simply hearing the beat over your loud instrument.
Love no ads, and no special permissions. I also love that it has sound options, coz I prefer a hihat to a beep. Really sick app. Thanks guys! <3
It's very simple and easy to use. I couldn't find any settings to change the tone of the first beat in each measure though, so I'll be trying to find a different app.
This is the first time I used this app and it's awesome! I am a harpist who's learning to play the harp and this app will be a big help in giving me the idea of what songs I play have the right kind of rhythm and tempo for each of them. I can master the art of playing my songs precisely at the right number beat shown on most of my pieces. This is an awesome app I highly recommend to any musician who's learning how to play songs at the right tempo speed.
Effective, functional and ad-free. Helped me made a timelapse when my intervalometer let me down; helps me match the BPM of tracks I hear; helps me practise sitar. Thanks!
Thank you sir for creating this valuable tool. I wanted something on my phone since it's always with me, to be able to capture a feel or set a tempo when I'm not at my system. The tap is very accurate and knowing the bpm really helps establish a groove. Many Thanks!
The app is a great ad-free metronome. It does exactly what it says. I have two enhancement suggestions: 1- I would like for it to have an automatic speed increase. For example, every 2 minutes raise the BPM by two to five clicks. 2-the exercise log should track the BPM in addition to the length of time that the metronome was running.
Tick-tock-tick-tock ... exactly what a metronome should be. No-ads is nice, and I have all the configuration options I need. If I wanted bells & whistles with a metronome ... ... I'll join a band ;)
I think this is the best app I've ever used, just one request I will be thankful if you pay attention to me. And it is if it's possible to add one more decimal to the metronome to be more accurate, since there are songs more precise than just one decimal. At least add it just one more.
Works well. It's too bad about accent not being available due to Android's limitation. I'm thrilled that it has no ads and requires no additional permissions.
Perfectly suited. Why anyone would complain is beyond me.
Great UI, and features. No adds. Didn't ask to see my contacts, search history, etc. Thank you Mr. sZpac!
It helps me so much in fiddling , subcribe to my channel, fiddler dude 2017
Great simple fast metronome. No ads. Different sounds. Beats any others I've messed with. This is THE ONE!
I cannot figure out how to work this thing. I just want 6/8 at 80bpm - still have not figured it out ....
I have tried many, many metronomes and this is the greatest of them all. By far the best metronome with by far the greatest logo icon in my opinion too.
Excellent app. Couldn't ask for more considering the app is complete free with no adds. I can see some commenters have not taken "free" into consideration before commenting.
The 'tap-training' feature makes this metronome really useful to acquire and maintain a player's sense of time. And no coin-spamming(!)
Use to guide blind people while they ride their own three wheel recombinant bike during slow roll buffalo. Works well. Thank you.
Great app for staying on beat when playing guitar and drums it continues playing in the background even when your not on the app so you can play music from either YouTube or spotify over it
Great metronome works perfectly can not ask for anything more dont bother buying any metronome this app is all you will need
Best metronome app that I have used so far. Many sound samples for the beats and well made interface. The metronome keeps running even after closing the app so I can video tape myself and keep the metronome on. No ads, either. Love it!
I love the "tap" feature. The sound is loud enough to hear while playing the piano. Very nice!
Great app. Simple and effective. Gives you what you want/need and leaves out any junk that may annoy you.
I use the Samsung S7 Active and this app works great! I play guitar, keys, drums and percussion instruments. This FREE metronome is a blessing for my practice. God Bless the author for making the app free AND ad free!
I wish it could do more rhythmic things like swing triplets or even a simple down beat on 1 so you could set the meter different time signatures.
First metronome downloaded and it works. Plain and simple. Being able to change the tone to a snare or kick or hat is a nice touch. The tempo options cover just about anything you would ever need. Great app.
For those people who are confused with this app it is for music people for a nice steady tempo too play and practice to so get your reviews right
Its great for wut i do...beat making....i needed one to stay one beat wen using my keyboard alone....perect!!
Metronome, plain and simple. No ads, no unnecessary permissions. Just what I needed.
Not possible to set Tempo by name directly (aka Adagio etc)
Fantastic, I couldn't be happier! I'm using it to determine the beats per minute of dance music.
Can't change tone of the click on different beats (i.e. 4/4 would have a high chime on the first beat). It's just always a single noise clicking out the bpm

The developer(s) were prudent, and also very generous to offer this software ad-free. It is very simple and straight-forward (in other words: almost perfect). The only thing it could never provide are receptive materialized buttons like rubber or hard plastic. Other than that, everything you need is there.
