New version released
Version 1.3 adds new features to automatically renumber cues and duplicate shows.

Features
Audio Cues supports two different kinds of cues:
Audio cues work with all standard audio file formats, including WAV, OGG and more.
Fade cues can change volume, pan from left to right, or serve as Stop cues

All cues have these features:
• Cue number and title
• Master, left and right volume
• A trigger (the Go button, or with or after the previous cue)
• A delay to run the cue a certain amount of time after the trigger
• A shortcut to run the cue from a keyboard or remote control

Audio cue features include:
• A target pointing to a particular audio file
• A starting point, letting you jump past the start of an audio file
Number of play times, including support for infinite loops

Fade cue features include:
• A target pointing to a specific audio cue, or to all running cues
• A fade duration
Stop the target audio cue(s)

Other features include:
• Integration with Google Drive and local storage to transfer audio files to your Android device
• Backup and restore of show designs to Google Drive and local storage

Keyboard shortcuts:
• Up and down cursor keys to scroll through the cue list
• The space bar or Enter to trigger the Go button
• Esc or Ctrl+Q to stop all running cues
• Configurable keyboard shortcuts for navigation and running cues

Audio File Storage
The app's audio files are stored in this directory:
/AudioCues/shows/[show title]

You can import files from:
• The device's internal storage
• An SD card
• Google Drive

Other ways to copy audio files to the device include:
• With a file manager app
• From a desktop computer connected by USB cable (on macOS, use Android File Transfer, available through the Mac App Store)
• Wirelessly with Bluetooth or with a file transfer app such as AirDroid

To build audio files, we recommend using Audacity, a free desktop application that works on Windows, Mac and Linux:

The developer
Audio Cues was designed and developed by Seattle-based Radial Theater's Producing Director, David Gassner. In addition to being an active theatre artist, he teaches software development skills for LinkedIn Learning and Lynda.com. The app was originally created for use in one of Radial Theater's productions.

Just completed opening night of our play using Audio Cues and it worked great. Pre-show music, transition music, and several sound cues were very easy to setup and work with during tech to get them where we needed. The only thing I would to see would be the ability to have the next cue stay several cues from the bottom so you can always see what is coming up next instead of the next cue always being at the bottom of the screen.

This app is amazing, all I need for a small theatre production. And I only need my phone. Best part is the demo, shows all the features in 10 min. Great job with this app.????

Fade only stops the previous cue? No matter the fade length. Is this correct?

Solvet...it's ok...My fault!!!

Simple and smart.

It's a very simple app in it's essence but it has a very needed functionality that I believe no other app provides. Running tracks for shows from my phone is such a great thing!

Failed during a live production, way too many 'won't play cue error' with no clear reason. Also very weird audio level issues that were a pain to gain control.

Have operated a few shows in several countries with this app. It's easy to use and operate, and The developer has always helped when needed. Will keep using this app for many future shows!

After hearing good things about the app, I downloaded for a show I've got coming up. Unfortunately I can only add tracks to the sample show, I cannot add any tracks to a new show I create. Any help fixing this would be wonderful

I love it. I have run quite a few shows from musical theatre to dance showcases. One thing I would love to see is some kind of "Currently Playing" list with time stamps!

Rather good. Limited in options but what is there is well thought through. Has been happily running my show this week with ~60 cues. Backup and restore on multiple devices is extremely useful. Would appreciate fade in functionality!

Fantastic app. Does exactly what it says. Saved me going out and buying an iPad to do the job. Great work. Agree with below comment of having a larger go button. Edit: why does the app fade cues in. Can't get rid of the previous fade. There is a global setting for fade out, but not in.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. It's quite basic right now, hence my 4 stars. It'll get 5 stars with the following features: - Ability to pick "out points" in looped tunes so after i've told it to move on with the "go button", the tune will continue until it hits this point in the track. This way the music will have integrity with it's verse. Until then - this is a solid app and I'm using it for a part of my show. Great job Radial theatre! [EDIT] Removed my other point - Ability to loop one track and play another over the top (background music and then add a sfx when I need it to). As it does indeed already exist. Turns out I'm an idiot! (Thanks Radial Theatre)

The music continue to play even if the display showed that everything was stopped. It kinda crash and doesn't stop till i reboot the phone. Please advise

Though it doesn't possess all the bells and whistles of QLab, this is a quality and cost effective alternative to that program. A simple and basic interface is able to handle a large number of a sound designers' wishes, assuming they are adept at programs like Audacity or the like. I've used this for designs both large and small.
