MMS Postkarte

App zum einfachen Erzeugen der MMS für den Dienst "MMS-Postkarte".

Der Dienst "MMS-Postkarte" ist so simpel wie genial: Man erzeugt eine MMS mit einem Bild und sendet diese an eine bestimmte Adresse. Das Bild wird dort auf eine Postkarte gedruckt, Adresse und Gruß auf die Rückseite und abgesendet. Leider vergisst man immer wieder, wie die MMS aussehen muss oder wohin sie gesendet werden soll. Diese App erzeugt die MMS im richtigen Format und erlaubt auch die Auswahl der Adresse aus den Kontakten.

Der Ablauf ist einfach:

- In der Galerie das gewünschte Foto aussuchen und "Teilen", hier "MMS-Postkarte" wählen
- In der App entweder die Adresse per Hand eintragen oder aus dem Adressbuch wählen
- Einen Gruß hinzufügen und die MMS erzeugen lassen
- Die erzeugte MMS dann einfach absenden und fertig.

Diese Schritte sind in den Bildschirmfotos für die App dargestellt.

Diese App steht in keiner Relation zum Anbieter des Dienstes "MMS-Postkarte". Die Programmierung wird nicht vom Anbieter dieses Dienstes finanziert oder gefördert. Die App benötigt zwar die Rechte, das Telefonbuch zu lesen (um das Einfüllen der Adresse zu erleichtern) und den Telefonstatus auszulesen (um eine Warnung anzuzeigen, wenn es sich nicht um eine Deutsche SIM handelt) aber greift auf keine kostenpflichtigen Dienste direkt zu oder tut etwas unerwartetes. Die erzeugte MMS wird am Ende der Android-App übergeben, die MMSse sendet. Hier kann jederzeit abgebrochen werden, ohne dass Kosten entstehen.

Wird die erzeugte MMS gesendet, entstehen dadurch natürlich die festgesetzten Gebühren, ob der Preis für eine solche Postkarte für Wucher oder Schnäpchen gehalten wird liegt im Ermessen des Nutzers. Dem Programmierer kann dafür, besonders, da er keinen Nutzen aus der Gebühr zieht, kein Vorwurf gemacht werden. Genauso kommt diese App vollständig ohne Garantie auf Ende-zu-Ende-Funktion, der Programmierer ist dennoch versucht, die App auf dem neuesten Stand und fehlerfrei zu halten.

Bekannte Probleme:

- Bei Telefonen, bei denen Googles "Hangout" MMS versendet, funktioniert die korrekte Weitergabe aller Daten für die MMS nicht, auch ist nicht gewährleistet, dass wirklich einen MMS (und keine eMail) gesendet wird.

- Die Zuordnung der Felder der Adresse aus dem Kontakt kann schief gehen.

- Telefone mit Erweiterungen der jeweiligen Hersteller können Schwierigkeiten haben, zur MMS-App zu wechseln. MMS Postcard

App for easy creation of MMS for the service "MMS Postcard".

The service "MMS Postcard" is as simple as it is ingenious: It generates an MMS with a picture and sends it to a specific address. The image is there, printed on a postcard, address and greeting on the back and sent. Unfortunately, one keeps forgetting how the MMS must look like or where they should be sent. This app generates the MMS in the correct format and also allows the selection of the address from the contacts.

The process is simple:

- In the gallery, choose the photo you want, and "Share", select "MMS Postcard"
- In the app, either the address manually enter or select from the address book
- Add a greeting and can generate the MMS
- The MMS generated then just stay and finish.

These steps are shown in the screenshots of the app.

This app is in no relation to the provider of the service "MMS Postcard". The program is not funded or sponsored by the provider of this service. Although the app needs the rights to read the phone book (to facilitate the filling of the address) and read the phone status (to display a warning if it is not a German SIM) but does not access paid services directly to or does something unexpected. The MMS generated is handed over at the end of the Android app that sends MMSse. Here can be canceled any time, without costs incurred.

If the MMS sent produced naturally arise because the required fees if the price of such a postcard for usury or bargains is held is located in the user's discretion. Similarly, this app is completely without any guarantee of end-to-end function, the programmer is still trying to keep the app up to date and error free.

Known issues:

 - For phones where shipped Google "Hangout" MMS, the correct transfer of all data for the MMS does not work, also is not guaranteed, is that really sent a MMS (and no email).

- The assignment of the fields of the address from the contact can go wrong.

- Phones with extensions of the respective manufacturers may find it difficult to switch to the MMS app.
