Widgets for Torque (OBD / Car)

Themes don't work and haven't got a response via email from the developer...

It would be better if there were decimal place settings

People posting 1 star either have no idea how Torque Pro operates or have no idea what they are doing. The Torque Pro app and all the add-ons work perfectly when set up correctly. Read the manuals, do your research, have a quality BT adapter and you will have no issues. This coming from a daily user of both the app and the widgets. Great add-on for Torque users when the widgets work. Sadly, they commonly freeze.

Prefect! I can add widgets of my favorite gauges right on the home screen of my head unit!

Great addon for Torque, but it looks like the developer abandond this project.

The obd toggle hasn't worked forever now. Are you going to fix this? S5 and s6 active

There needs to be a way to toggle the widgets through tasker or something

Nice to be able to customize the widgets

These widgets are great in theory, but he seems to have abandoned it. The last update was for Honeycomb OS and it seems to force close itself 100% of the time. I'd pay 10 bucks for these widgets. If they actually worked. Get your refund until then!

Works well. Sometimes certain widgets get stuck and don't update for a while, but I don't know if this is due to the app or my engine ECU

It works, on my chinese tablet, but the problem is widgets are way too big, I wish I could choose small ones, there are two sizes only and the small size takes half the screen, the big one won't fit, it's a nice app just need to put smaller sizes.

I paid for an app that does not work. Been using torque (paid version) for a while nowĺ and am disappointed with the widget. No matter what I do nothing happens. The main app has its issues but overall works most of the time. Using on galaxy note 2. Please fix. Tks

These widgets are close to perfect. I just don't like the lack of customization for the widgets. Like, the "trip time" is awesome, but it only counts/displays seconds. It should be smart enough to switch to minutes, and hours on a long trip. Like saying 5m 2s, instead of 300s. If more customization was added to allow for this, it would be perfect. (looks awesome on my NU3001 car head unit otherwise)

Ian, I hope you read these :) Thank you for the update! The widgets are now following the theme for me. Now that it is working perfectly, we need to introduce more features.. :D Need ability to customize the gauges like within Torque, . Can you make a Display Configuration for the widgets? Using Nova Launcher and Torque Widgets, I have been able to really make a really awesome layout. Cheers!!

Freezes data, doesn't reconnect when torque is exited, etc. Really buggy

Using Torque on a 7" tablet I use solely as a car tablet. The Torque app works great! However these widgets work only 35% of the time. They look great on my homescreen when they are working but not worth buying to only have them work occasionally. The switch widget is pointless and has no affect. I leave Torque running pretty much all the time. The widgets just randomly decide to work then decide not to work again for a while.

Not sure if it's Android 4.4.4 or what have a play edition Moto G as soon as Widgets are placed they never update again, show whatever the data was when placed and once phone is restarted they say no data, no matter what happens in Torque app.

Update # 2 - Widgets have been stuck on default theme despite all my efforts for about the last 4 months or so. No response on the Torque forums from anyone in all this time, I now believe this app has been abandoned by the developer. If all you require is a basic home screen widget with no frills and not many options relative to the full widgets within the app, then this will do the job. Unfortunately, this is not what the screenshots shown suggest.

I haven't even placed any widgets yet but since installing torque keeps activating.

And a little slow to respond.

So far it does nothing. All it does is, well, NOTHING!!! Worthless. Truely a waste of time and money. Shocking since the torque app is so good...

Im using go launcher and car dock home v3 and i cant tell a difference in update speed from my widgets and from using the actual app ... great dev great app great widget

Working well so far, makes using Torque app much easier.

Its a good idea, tryied to use it but the measuring units don't seem to change to the ones configured in torque and you can set max min gauge numbers so its very primitive, I don't mind spending the money as I support the developers cause and appreciate his amazing mother app (torque) but this pluggin is not very good... yet.

However the widgets update very slowly, and so its not really realtime. I'm pretty sure this is an issue with how fast android updates widgets though.

Running this on a galaxy tab. Brings the system to a standstill when not in contact with my bluetooth ecu device, and even when active the widgets are very slow and clunky. :( too bad I cant get a refund...

How about a toggle to turn torque on and off so it's not always running. EDIT thank you for implementing my suggestion :-D now it is Perfect
