Track Recorder(Torque OBD/Car)

Love it! Especially after the latest update. It now doubles as my dash cam. Only thing I cant figure out is a workaround to get my Galaxy S7 Edge to utilize both front and rear facing cameras, the settings in the app allow you to select both but my phone will not do it for some reason. Anyone have a workaround?

Seems to be progressing however it still will not upload shares to any of the listed sites or options. ODB2 seems extremely slow or lagging behind the actual video. I am running it on a Samsung s7 edge with ODB MX. Still not able to record to sd card.

been loving this for some time, but recently been having issues with meters showing no data, eg speed, boost, etc they show data in the slection menu but not once on the dash view. this is on 3 phones I have it installed on. also doesnt upload just crashes and says video corrupt after a while. on Huawei P9, Htc one m9 and htc one m8

Awesome concept, and works really well, however... I was wondering if there is a way to rotate the UI 90 degress. Also, I noticed that a previous reviewer had / has an issue with not recording to the SD card. Same issue with with me.

i think this a great app but i cant access the videos to put them on youtube for my channel i tried the wifi sync option through torque pro but my phone and tablet dont have usb mass storage option only mtp and that apparently doesnt work and i cant figure out how to record to sd

Can't use second/front camera in Mi4i. Also, not able to figure out use of Google Maps as overlay. Otherwise, a very good app.

After the latest update, it seems to be working, although it Still won't record to my memory card - external memory. Keep up the good work dev'. d;-{)>

Unable to use with external memory card, every recording is corrupt or missing parts. This makes it pretty pointless until the issue is fixed. Common issue from what I can see, and been happening for at least a year with no indication of a fix.

I have two devices, it works fine on one, showing my gauges as an overlay and uploads directly as an mp4 file to my windows 10 laptop without any need for encoding, but on my galaxy S4 it doesn't show the gauges at all no matter what I do!!

My regular cam app can be seen fine but when I turn on dashcam from torque its very dark and can't be adjusted.

This is awesome, tested with an old USB webcam and works great! Going to buy a new one and wire it into car for rear facing "dashcam". Dev you write some sweet apps!!!! Can I pay you for this? Thank you!

Doesn't work. Every recording says: "Unable to load file - parts missing or corrupt?"

Outstanding update. Works very well for daily use. Highly recommended.

i instal it on my pumpkin andriod car radio 5.1 tourqe works perfect but it comes to track recorder i press record camera not connected and looping.

Have used this for a long while now. These recent updates are fantastic. Feels like I would not mind to pay for these upgrades.

Although everyday updates, I can not use it still. When I try to use it it says that my version of torque pro is old, and I have to update to the newest one. When I open play store it doesn't show me that there is an update for Torque Pro. Only open and uninstall. Could You please do something about that?

I see that others can select 2 or USB camera but I can't find that setting? Can someone point it out so I can use my USB camera? Thanks

What is the max file size, seems to stop at 4gb even though it says it is still recording footage. Thanks for the reply, makes sense what you saying, a warning note would be great for the app.

Doesnt work. Screen behaves erratically with lines flashing and it doesn't record anything. Help!

Great app - updates need a bit more tweaking. Pressing playback during recording locks-out the camera. Needs reboot to clear. Note3

##solved## thanks ian, for some reason system ui was disabled in drawing on top.. ###Whenever i press record to start a recording it crashes my system ui. Used to use and love on my m8 but cant get it to work on the s7 edge. Ive tried uninstalling/reinstalling all different storage locations and different cameras

My phone seems to be able to use both cameras at the same time with other apps. But can't seem to pick it up on track recorder. When I use the third camera option it displays the screen but is red and says error

Monthly would be better. If the new version is buggy, consider using beta testers through the Play Store.

Lg G3 dont work any more. Fail to record. Nothing saved to log file. Tryed all settings with no result. Both cameras seems to work but track recoder crashed when toch record. Thanks for ur work. Please fix or revert. Edit: Done all combinations possible... swich cameras, turn off an on. Both cameras r working well in other software. Tr Rec dont work with any of cameras. Thanks for quick reply. Again tested with root permision... no luck, advice please. Edit: LG-D855, Android 6, software ver v30b- global. Uninstaling - that was first choice and tested with default settings so this dosnt work. As I said above I even rooted my device with no result.

I would like to be able to use it with portrait view and not only landscape. The camera view works in portrait but the indications (speed, Gps, etc) are in landscape.

360 Security 3.8.2.4328 is telling me it detected malware in this version, but in prior TR versions nothing detected. Can you confirm this is a false positive?

This app would be really great if... if you answer a phone call, open another app (like Google maps), try to play some music, run anything else at all, and track recorder stops. Which really makes it nothing more than a cool novelty and not at all practical.

So glad this was updated! The updates definitely brought functionality back for Lollipop! I've relied on this app since I first came across it; it's gotten me out of a fair share of speeding tickets when HWY Patrol clocks the wrong vehicle and try to pin it on me. Plus it captures all the crazy things I see while driving lol.

If you try to open the app from here all you get is a black screen, BUT if you open it in Torque it works perfectly

Useful app 4 remembering when going up hills

Update 08-12-2016: I updated to the Samsung Note 5, and this does not really work. For whatever reason, the touch screen in this app does not work. great add-on to Torque, but 1) the gauges do not rotate if the phone rotates. This is a bad thing. 2) when you are in video mode, there is not a clock gauge / overlay. 3) There should be a way so the video only records video and no sound. 4) Lastly, it would be nice if the video recording has a faint image of the gauges you have placed over the video and have the gauges be somewhat transparent. Other wise, good app.

Torque Great app! Works excellent with one exception. Ever since I upgraded my Android phone to a Galaxy S6, I can not add items to display on my track video recording screen to monitor. When I hold my finger down on the video screen to add a display, nothing happens. I used to be able to add or remove any display I wanted. I'm not sure what could be causing this. Holding my finger on the screen (Like in Realtime Information Screen) in other modes to add a display works fine. It just doesn't work on the video track recorder screen anymore.
