About Endgame Studio

Want to know if that chess endgame from your last game was really won, lost or a draw?

Then this is the app for you! Simply setup the position on the board and press a button!

This unique app is the only chess app on Google Play that you can use to analyse chess endings with 100 % perfect accurary.

It uses Nalimov tablebases (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endgame_tablebase) to determine with
100 % accurary if a position with 5 pieces or less is won, lost or drawn.

Normally a tablebase of this size takes up 7 GB of space, but this app sends the position to a
remote server and returns the result - so it does not take up space on your smartphone or tablet!

So get the tool you need to check your endgame positions with 100 % accuracy.

Some 6 piece endgames are also supported.
More are planned if enough users support this app by buying it.

Note: Positions where castling are still possible (not very likely in an endgame...) are not supported)

by D####:

This app has an easy to use interface, and it queries the tablebase quickly and correctly. Not every chess player needs access to tablebases, but if you want to use them for studying/training, you will find this more convenient than a desktop application or an online tablebase lookup. A good idea for a future enhancement would be selecting a piece and pressing a button to see all the squares that piece could sit on that would not alter the result. This feature is included in some desktop programs.
