I've tried about 5 of these mousepad/keyboard apps. This is the best one that works for Linux. Connects without issues, advanced settings, no useless extra features. However, simulation of the mouse is still a bit too stuttery for me.

Solves "connection refused" error for both my phones. In order to use via bluetooth, install the server on your pc first. On your HTC make sure FTP service is enabled under bluetooth settings! MOUSE WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT THIS!

I use this app for a year on my galaxy s2 and i love it. Now i got galaxy s6 and when i hit (...) to get to settings menu, it appears for a sec and disappears. I cant set any ip etc. Any fix to my problem?

Now with this app i can sit back and control my laptop fully.. I can play songs,surf internet,watch movie...also type..without touching my laptop.. ;-) I am using wifi for connection...bluetooth connection is nt working...bt still wifi is better

Motor Xoom X601 Android 4.0.4. Mouse works, but buttons on left rather than bottom rather confusing. Keyboard function simply doesn't work. Nice file explorer feature, and fact can use host name rather than IP address is a plus. Has potential when its fixed.

I don't like when certain information is left out of the developers description of the app.. This garbage needs additional programs and drivers installed. It's not hard to say that this will not run without the 'client or server'.

Works well with X11 under Linux (I've underused it with IceWM from Ubuntu Trusty). Reasonably configurable UI, so the buttons don't have to be tiny on Nexus 6P. Scroll is sadly not done using two fingers; instead it is somehow triggered in a thin bar on the device's screen. (It seems to be a configurable-width bar on the right side of the screen.)

Online docs weak, but not impossible to config. Works pretty well after that. High CPU usage on server w/hulu full screen.

UI isn't the nicest but that doesn't really matter. It's a little laggy but I think that might be bluetooths fault... great otherwise! D1 CM6

Enable multi touch scrolling like remotedroid and you'll really have something. Less lag than remotedroid.

I found very few stable apps that use BT for mouse and keyboard functionality. My only complaint is the keyboard fails when the orientation changes.

Just crap. Ultimate FAIL! downloaded everything correctly and still refused!! Very frustrating!

The touch pad on my computer doesn't work so if my mouse breaks or I'm lazy (LOL) I can simply use this app. Coolest app ever!

I was gonna buy a wireless mouse... until I stumbled upon this! Amaaaaazing job devs!!! Thank u so much!! Now I can simply use my phone as a wireless mouse instead! SGS2

Does what it says. No complaints. Unsure if some moments of not connecting is my set up or the program. Best I've used though since gmote. For the g1.

Works great. Had the "connection refused" problem, but it was my Bluetooth, not the app. 5 stars is you add in a game pad mode.

Super app!! You need a installation on PC too. Works superb on my xp. Only problem is the lag, takes a second before the corsor starts moving. ~Satya

Just connected my HTC Desire S with an ubuntu 11.04 laptop. It works! Swype keyboard works as well but it doesn't insert spaces automatically.

Was a pain to get bluecove working on windows 7. Had to pull down the latest snapshot version and replace the provided jar with it. Works great now

I use this app quite often. It works like a charm but i'm missing media keys. Would be a nice addition to the allready amazing app.

Works perfectly well. Easy to set up and use. Only problem is that it doesn't recognise the backspace key on SE X10 mini pro keyboard.

Its almost like a remote desktop for android! Loses connection when locking and when programs ask for permissions on windows 7 And vista. Still good!

Make phones volume rocker's to do function as scroll wheel or volume control... Also this ap dont hav shortcut key feature as the pc, and important... Make phones clipboard usable so i cal copy txt from phone to the MS word or notepad

Room for improvement, slight minute lag, and please make it more clear that theres a server software... Also, pinch to zoom would be great, things like this will perfect

I would have given it a perfect score, but the feature does not work. It does bring up the keyboard, but they keyboard is 'unpressable' and screen takes precedence over the keyboard.

i have successfully connected PC with droidX. tested app but doesn't work using droidX with windows Vista via BT.

AMAZING, could do with a bit more detail on the help page how to set up, but once set up n setings r tweeked, this apps a ten!!

It works well with bluetooth. infact ityped this review itself with thia app only.. im using samsubg galaxy s i9000. PLEASE DONT FORGET TO INSTALL THE DRIVER FROM THE SPESCIFIED WEBSITE. IT WON'T WORK WITH YOUR NORMAL WINDOWS NBLUETOOTH. mouse is very fast too. but swype input is not working.. great app.. kudos to developer.. :-)

For people whomever its not working . Figure out ur Bluetooth address . Or check in" edit '' . Works fine on HTC 2.1 + devices

Desire 2.2 and mac, perfect on wifi, not working with bt, will not start server. Is it possible to make multi touch trackpad as on a macbook?

Worked great on my DINC2. It took a few trys to get the wifi connection settings right but thats only cause this was my first time setting it up.

I cant get the bluetooth server to start = any ideas why? Other that that, the wifi server runs smoothely and its easy. 4 stars for now

For people who constantly have WiFi devices on and off, your access ip for promote will change. A simple glance on desktop to check ip will help.

Like the PRemote works better than remotedroid. U have to download the zip file from ur desktop for wifi to work.. since i hve android 2.0 g1..

Do not skip to insert numbers shown on pc's server application. I did and lose some time until get it working.

Guys please help. I installed it but when it open it said "press menu key" or something. I have a galaxy s5 but it doesn't come with a menu keys. For thos who have a s5 will know what I'm talking about
