About Forex Currency Strength Index
For Forex traders - shows a graph of Absolute Currency Strength (Please read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absolute_currency_strength to understand the concepts).
Note: the graph looks much better in the ad-free version.
Set a period (eg M1, M15, D1 etc), a sample (steps of 10), and threshold in %. Get an alert when a currency moves above the threshold for the period and sample you selected.
Same thing when a currency becomes weak, and moves below the threshold.
For example:
Click on 'Alarm Clock' icon, click the plus sign, see a dialog to add an alert.
Set an alert for M1/50/0.2 - that is for 50 samples on the 1-minute chart, at a threshold of 0.2. Provided the markets are open, you should get an alert very quickly, meaning a currency has moved more than 0.2% in the last 50 minutes.
Second Example:
You set an alert for M5/50/2.0. This means you want an alert when a currency increases OR decreases by 2% on the 5-minute chart, relative to a point 50 5-minute periods before (that is 250 minutes).
So, if USD has increased by 3.5%, and NZD has decreased by 2.1%, you get an alert saying "USD/NZD".
Another example:
You set an alert for H1/30/5.0 - 30 samples on the 1-hour chart, and a threshold of 5% (You need a bigger threshold for longer periods)
Say CAD has decreased 6%, but no currency has increased more than 5% (the threshold you set) - you get an alert saying "-/CAD", meaning no rising currency, CAD is falling.
You get alerts at the end of each period - that is, H1 alerts come at the start of each hour, M30 each half hour etc.

Alerts are handled through Google Cloud Messaging, not by polling - so an M1 alert will not be battery heavy, as it is not checking every 1 minute - the server does that.

Deuteranopia color blind and I can't tell the difference between USD and CHF. Also JPY and EUR are indistinguishable to me. Please allow for color modification so I can find the contrast that works for my eyes. A darker green would work for USD or chf which ever is green, but not sure on the other pair light blue and white I am guessing. Maybe a blue heavy purple that is fairly light. Custom would be better, but that is probably much harder.

This really does help alot although I wish 4 hour charts were updated hourly. Obviously to make use of app you have to have some knowledge and understanding of forex.

Not bad at all. Anyhow please consider something. Last 10 or 20 or 30 etc. candles means nothing. I need Fibonacchi numbers. Last 233, 377, 610, 987... candles. The most useful is 90, because is very close to 89, but I don't trade that short periods. Please add! The best would be to use the number I want. Thank you!

Atleast I have used different strength meters. But this one gives me more accurately, when to use as my SL, for TP, I leave profit to run until strength of the currency drops bellows my target. Thank so far

I finally purchased not becz of the ads but it helps me w/ trading decisions. However, I wish there will be list of history of past notifications even if only the past 5 to 12 hours. My phone is not always with me so I missed some of profitable currency strength signals. Even if it will be deleted within 24 hours it will still give me time to take notes of those I missed. Current signal overwrites the previous one so you don't know the signal before that. This is the problem with low timeframe like the 5 minutes. Nevertheless, this app is very helpful.
