A pesar de que el cáncer de seno y de cuello uterino son los tipos de cáncer más frecuentes y mortales en las mujeres colombianas, existen formas de prevenirlos y exámenes para detectarlos tempranamente que pueden reducir el impacto social de estas enfermedades.

Ámate es una aplicación didáctica, novedosa y única diseñada para mujeres que permite aprender sobre el cáncer de seno y de cuello uterino al tiempo que estratifica el riesgo para desarrollar alguno de estos tipos de cáncer de acuerdo a las respuestas seleccionadas.

Ámate prueba el conocimiento sobre el cáncer de seno y de cuello uterino mediante módulos didácticos integrados por preguntas educativas, de riesgo y evaluativas. Las preguntas educativas y evaluativas muestran mensajes de retroalimentación para reforzar el conocimiento; los aciertos en las evaluativas otorgan puntos que se acumulan al final del módulo para saber que tanto has aprendido sobre cada tipo de cáncer.

Existe una segunda oportunidad para incrementar los puntos que se activa nuevamente en el transcurso de la semana y permite reforzar el conocimiento y ver el progreso del aprendizaje.

La función que orienta sobre la indicación de alguna prueba de tamizaje usa las respuestas de las preguntas formuladas y un algoritmo interno, que tiene en cuenta las Guías de Práctica Clínica del Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social de Colombia, para analizar el riesgo de cáncer de seno y de cuello uterino.

Al finalizar todos los módulos, la aplicación ofrece a las mujeres a riesgo la opción de ser contactada para obtener la cita del respectivo examen.

Con Ámate las mujeres podrán aprender sobre el cáncer de seno, el cáncer de cuello uterino y ser orientadas para el tamizaje cuando tienen indicación. Ámate te ayudará a vivir más y mejor.
