Proximity Wifi

Works great. Can we see a GPS toggle next? When I leave my tower it should turn on my Gps.

Changing my reading to a 2on this new version.. added every cell tower

I would love it if it didn't have the status icon in the bar.

For some time now I've been puzzled about a message that pops up on my screens that says, "Saving new WiFi ..." where "..." is the name of the WiFi router. It would pop up every 5 minutes or so, and I suspected it was related to my TF700T slight sluggishness and tardy response to touch. I finally tried uninstalling Proximity WiFi to see if that was generating the message, So far - no message. Has anyone else noticed performance hits when using Proximity WiFi, or do they see this message? Three stars because I have no evidence that it was doing what it's supposed to do. Update: I've just discovered that I also now have my power-saving screen blanking timeout back! I wondered why my screen wouldn't blank after 5 minutes inactivity; it was Proximity WiFi that somehow turned it off.

It will connect with chosen access points as stated. But it keeps enabling wifi randomly when I am driving around. It drains my battery like crazy.

Works like a charm on HTC Desire Z Virtually no configuration needed Just fire and forget.

Sometimes it works, sometimes doesn't. Sometimes it disables wifi when in the white zone. Quite annoying. Uninstall now.

Excellent on galaxy tab... Never have to worry about being connected.

Works pretty good actually on the 720XT. A battery monitoring widget flattened my battery not this. Will donate soon.

Flakey, like most of the other apps of this nature, unfortunately.

Love the idea. Works about half the time. Tries to link to networks that dont have signal but are close... Qtr mile away. Wapdroid works much better.

Range is a bit of a problem - it can be very on/off when traveling near known hotspots. But a decent attempt.

Loved it until I discovered that it would cause my HTC incredible to reset itself when it was running, gps navigation was on, and I made a phone call
