great app!

In the last couple of days.

For the region I'm working with OSM is more detailed than Google

This is a good and fast app, much faster than some similar ones. Although it has just a map view function (without POI edits or GPS tracking/logs), it's simple, so if you want a relatively small app just for browsing OSM to explore places around you, this is a good choice. And I like the availability of several map styles (along Mapnik) like the OpenCycleMap or the Public Transport map.

Loads my old mapnik tiles but doesn't seem to load new ones

Very cool APP. Shows way more small hidden places than gmaps

Tile loading is too slow for this app to be useful.

how dare you release a map app without pinch-zoom?!

Recent update has made it a bit buggy: menu duplicates itself, app freezes with blank screen and doesn't force close

so there

App needs support for finding direction from current location to a place.

I do loads with osm, this is by far my favourite map viewing application

Sono presenti tutte le principali funzioni per visualizzare le mappe da Open Street Map. Buona la possibilità di visualizzare altre tipologie di mappe, peccato che alcune non funzionano. Un'integrazione con le mappe di ITO! Map sarebbe ottima! Da migliorare ma è sulla strada giusta.

Tile loading is VERY slow even over the wifi on a fast Internet connection.

When you zoom in about half the tiles fail to load, so you end up with a mismatch of various zoom levels tiles.

Just missing some trick for fast "go to current position". If I watch a world and want to go to my current position I have to switch off and on "my location" option from menu. Would give 4-5 points but that functionality is missing.
