Let us re-introduce GurbaniVA-Lite to you with simple yet innovative user interface and many other big and small developments. We have removed all elements from the main screen to let you keep your focus on gurbani. Hence giving more room to shabads, making them even more easy-to-read.

Now we officially support Android 4.1 and 4.2 too. There is another good news for you if you own an old Android device because now you can install GurbaniVA-Lite on literally any Android device (tested with 2.1 to 4.2) that has a touch sensitive screen and supports gestures.

Our gurmukh brothers and sisters who have been using GurbaniVA-Lite might wonder that how they will navigate through shabads? The answer is simple - To navigate to next shabad tap on right side of the screen and similarly to navigate to previous one tap on left side. These are the most common gestures for all mobile devices and we hope you will like this change.

Scrolling experience has been improved immensely. Swipe top to bottom or bottom to top in centeral area of the screen to scroll. Scrolling even a very long shabad now takes just two or three swipes.

Shabad - Index has been updated. Japji-Sahib, SoDur, SoPurakh, Mundaavanni, Raagmala, SahaskritiSalok and many other banis have been added to the index.

Font support for some not-so-different fonts has been dropped. Now you have six fonts in total to select from. GurbaniVA-Lite will still remember your font of choice and the shabad you were reading before you quit GurbaniVA-Lite.

NEW! Nitnem Index - We are excited to announce that now GurbaniVA-Lite also has all nitnem banis like: Japji Sahib, Jaap Sahib, Rehras Sahib, Kirtan Sohila, Shabad Hazare, Swaiye, Chaupayi Sahib, Anand Sahib, Barah Maha, Ardaas.

NEW! Review - You can rate and review GurbaniVA-Lite on Google Play to make us reachable to all gursikhs. We don't need bulk downloads but we definitely want to reach out to everyone who understands why do we bow infront of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

TROUBLESHOOTING - If you are facing any difficulty in using GurbaniVA-Lite after upgrading from a previous version we recommend to delete app data, this should fix any incorrect shabad/index issue or else to re-install it after unistalling.
i. To delete app data: Home>Settings>App>GurbaniVA-Lite>Delete_Data.
