Floss Checklist

This is an overall good ap. But there isn't a way to sort how you view colors. It's alphabetical order or nothing and that's not how these things are sold in stores. It makes it difficult to see what you have vs what you're missing. Since this is not a free AP I would expect to have better sorting options. As of now there aren't any at all.

It needs the floss list updated. DMC Coloris isn't included. DMC Light Effects is incomplete. & A few discontinued regular DMC that should be removed. I'd also like to sort by color number or the option to switch. Still the best floss tracking app available. But it's frustrating to have an incomplete list.

App runs smoothly, does what it advertises. Sorting feature is a little wonky, some lists have 3000s in with 300s, 4000s with 400s, etc. (esp. if there is a letter before the number designator; clearly an ASCII error). Would be better with: -Corrected sorting error; -Pictures of each thread company's color images for reference; -Included how many skeins are needed instead of just how many are already owned; -A "jump to number" feature for longer lists to reduce scrolling; -A project list option to just check off colors for a particular design. Again, app runs great, does what it says it does, easy to use. Very handy to keep track of needed floss colors especially when faced with an unexpected sale at the craft store! Look forward to further updates.

Please update to sort floss by number in the list and shopping list. I solely use DMC and I was at the craft store going through what I needed. I got frustrated because there was no way to sort in number order. There was 300 mixed in with 3000. I was reading previous reviews and reaponses...my phone does not have a menu button so a menu button should be added into the app so setting displays can be chosen.

Works great! I have it on my phone and on my Kindle Fire. I can easily keep track of how many of each color of thread I have, and it's a single tap to indicate if I need to buy a color for my next project. Something that would make it rate 5 stars would be the ability to indicate how many of each color I need to buy. I do large projects which often need multiple skeins of a color, but the app only let's me know that I need a color, not that I need 6 skeins of a color.

Missing all new 6 strand DMC colors. Numbers 3880 to 3895. You should add these ASAP. Otherwise good app.

I can't use this app as an inventory or checklist because all the types of threads aren't listed for a manufacturer. As an example, Gutermann lists Cotton Thread only. They have many other types of threads. Also, would be nice to be able to use the barcode scanner to take inventory. Using ToMarket Pro instead. It has a barcode scanner and I can make a separate List for thread.

I liked this app but then I got a new phone and lost my inventory. I looked for a way to export or save the data but could not find anything. There are no menu or settings that I could find. With a few improvements this could be a great app.

Prefer if the dmc floss could be put in numerical order. I store all my embroidery floss that way. Makes it much harder to use to keep tract of inventory with the way the it uses colour names instead of the numbers to organize them by

When i purchased the app entering all my floss it was numerical but today when I looked at it its all alphabetized, not numerical how can I change that? It states to hit menu botton to change this but there is no menu botton. I use DMC so this app us useless to me, but I love the idea it just needs some tweeks! Uninstalled and then reinatalled I hoped that would fix but it didn't, waste of money!

I bought this app only to find that the DMC floss colors are not sortable by number. Makes it difficult to use, and tge reviews are old. The app is usable just not worth money.

The old version was able to list the thread numerically which what what I wanted. Now it doesn't. Disappointed.

The only thing I wish this had was thumbnail photos,of the floss. But, that may be too bulky for this . 5 stars regardless.

Still love the app however I think an update is needed. Colours are missing and would live to see Gloriana added. NPI is not added yet either

Would have loved this app if I could get it to organize by color number and not by colors. Could never figure that out so will go back to checking my floss inventory manually and just adding a shopping list to my phone when starting a new project.

App has reverted to alphabetical order of the threads and there is no way to sort by numerical order. App is useless to me.

This would be perfect if all recent DMC additions were included under 6 stranded cotton

Would give it 5 stars, but needs to update and add new colors from the companies.

When my screen turns off it resets my place on the app, please fix!

This app is helpful but I would love to be able to sort the colors by number. I have my dmc floss organized by number so it would be nice if this app could be adapted to different organizing methods. I don't see a menu button anywhere either.

Shopping list does not organize by number or at least the 300s and 300s are mixed.

Just bought it and looked it over. So, obviously I haven't used it yet but I can tell it's exactly what I need.

Very easy to use. My only problems with it are the lack of Sullivan's thread and that there's no way to see a full list of threads that you already have

I love it. All I needed was something that I could keep track of the floss I owned and what I needed to buy. Now I have no worries of writing the numbers down wrong and causing my project to stop because I got the wrong color. Great because I can buy charts while I'm out and see what colors I already own and what I need. Canvas size calculator is a great bonus. Thanks!

I was very excited to discover this app, but my excitement was short lived. I am disappointed that so many of the Weeks Dye Works colors are missing. Can't really depend on it while I'm out shopping; too many colors missing. I'll be looking for a more complete list. I also wish it included Madeira 6 strand cotton threads, Needlepoint Silks and Gloriana silks. If the lists were complete, I'd give this 5 stars; but it's not very useful unless all the colors are included.

Love the idea, but am I doing something wrong? No sewing polyester threads in Coats & Clark, and most of all the multiple color threads are not included. Otherwise, it has helped get my thread inventory intact.

Use it to track floss and mostly the fabric calculator.

it'd be great if the app had a conversion option (dmc to anchor for example) and a few of my threads aren't in the app!

I have used this app for a couple of years and it has been great! It is very useful for keeping track of the over dyed flosses. Hope you continue to keep this great app up to date!

No sort , it locks into alphabetic order. No way to clear shopping list or undo a need.

Wonderful app. Has saved me lots of money since I do not buy an over dyed floss that I already have on hand. Love love love it.
