This is the OpenPilot android application that I wrote (and am the sole author of). Further development of this application has moved to Tau Labs project and is available on the store here (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.taulabs.androidgcs&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsIm9yZy50YXVsYWJzLmFuZHJvaWRnY3MiXQ.).
I've kept this application available as people are still using it, but would recommend switching to Tau Labs for many improvements.
A ground control system for android phones and tables that talks UAVTalk.
This is known to work with the Portuguese Meatballs release from OpenPilot: http://forums.openpilot.org/topic/14226-new-software-release-20121016-93c76ec4-portuguese-meatballs/ as well as the two more recent dot releases.
Always fly away from people or property and with care. This software is released under the GPL and as comes with no warranty for usability.

Try LibrePilot instead it's the newest version opened back up its much better ... yes they have stop the development of openpilot and started LibrePilot. .. enjoy

The original developer left the project and kinda held this app for ransom. As such those that wish to use it are subject to an annoying Nag screen and intentional lag behind *current* releases. This is unfortunate as even though updates are made the source is not on github or elsewhere. Unfortunately THIS version of the app incorrectly claims to NOT support certain devices that have no issue running the app. Certainly not an example of the authors best work.
