OpenLP - OpenLP Remote

Not all worship places have routers. I understand that bluetooth has its limitations but I think you can do better than just wan/lan connection

DON'T KNOW HOW TO CONNECT IT TO MY COMPUTER ??

I cant connet the pc to my phone. My router is a 10.0.0.3 for my comp. but the app only gives my a 198.168.1.1. Please!!!! Anyone help me. I need step by step instructions. Thanks

Where have the settings gone? Can't change anything after initial setup. Never had this problem before.

The opening screen appeared to have the capability to set up multiple servers so we could test at home and go live at church, but now we can't find that screen again. The features do look cleaner than the previous version.

Great functionality, basic but useful for sure. The only thing that's missing here is the ability to look up scripture from it.

To be able to remotely operate the display monitors in our sanctuary is fabulous. Being able to remotely operate them from my phone is fantastic. I would recommend the Openlp software, along with the Openlp app, to anybody needing this type of projection software. This stuff is not only easy to use, it is also free. I've been using Openlp for a few years now, just recently this remote app on my phone and I wouldn't trade it for anything else. Thank You Openlp team, and keep up the great work.

the connection timeout keeps giving a problem as my phone or tablet gets disconnected during worship service and its so embarrassing. I am proposing that the connection timeout be removed

Ive used this both on my tablet and phone for almost a year now and its perfect but i opened the app this morning and found that the veses center automatically but do to the way ive done it is scolling to the next ahead of time it threw me off at first but now i've got the hang of it so all good now love the new layout but oddly enough its only on my tablet Samsung galaxy s3 Samsung tab3

We should give this developers some type of support for their awesome work.

Whatever was changed in OpenLP server latest version the remote now works well with only the occasional glitch where it cannot reach the server.

Need more apps like this!

When a media file is attached to a slide, remote app has no way of playing the file.

Error on installing: "Package file was not signed correctly".

Perfect! Would be nice if it had an option to stop the screen blackout

Excellent for changing song slides when in the band. If you have old pre-market version installed, uninstall it first to get rid of package sign error

Have used OpenLP for several years now with great success. I use multiple instances of this remote display app to run several flat panel TV monitors for stage view, pulpit view and lyric display to the assembly. Several choir members run it on their own tablets. It performs wonderfully. Great work, thank you!

For free? Impressive. One criticism: need to be able to search scripture verse from the app.

Also stage screen etc. How do you set timed advance from this app?

Our church just started using this in pur worship service. We love it.

Interesting app but handling instructions are needed as the format is different from the app in the PC.

For a free software package, it is a very well designed and programmed presentation package. The fully functioning remote is the "cherry on top"

Works great with Ubuntu 13.04 I'll be testing with windows 7 or 8 soon.

I use this for controlling openlp from the congregation and also for adding songs to service list while practising with the singers at the front. Rock solid, never crashes. Just wish the stage view included slide previews.

My samsung note 7100 is not connecting to the IP address. Pls help!
