Barcode OI Plugin

Just scans the bar code of the item and tells you what it is. Purpose? Non that I can find, obviously I know what the item is if I'm holding it in my hands to scan the bar code. Thought it would list a price or something. This app is a pointless waist of space.

Excellent. Don't why anybody would dislike OpenIntents apps except for: 1. An app doesn't meet your exact needs; or 2. An app has a rare glitch vs. bug (Email Dev). I use them because they serve my purpose. And also, if for no other reason, the Dev (unlike the vast majority of Devs) requests only the permissions required for the apps to function properly. Rare bird indeed.

Away you have to down load three apps to use then on the third it wants access to contacts, phone history, app history no thx. Uninstalling.

Can't find names of products even though Barcode Scanner does.

This app Extenction took me a while to figureout how to work but once you figure it out Works Great!

Quite useful. Whenever something runs out, just scan its barcode and its in the list.

I can't understand why European barcodes don't lookup. They lookup properly in native zx scan app, so why not in the plugin?

Does exactly what it supposed to do and interact perfectly with other O. I. Software.

I agree with Ken, the scanner works perfectly! I just don't think people understand how some of these apps and plug-one work. Work it through the list

have problems understanding the simplest concepts. This works exactly as it should, and even correctly ID'd a very obscure product I keep as a test. Have OI Shopping List? Ever scanned a barcode before? Then get this. It will add functionality, and save a little time.

Scan tip: The camera needs good bright light to read the barcodes. The diffused bright light in some stores is not enough sometimes.

Great addition! Would give 5 *'s if it added a button for barcode entry instead of going to menu all the time.

If your having problems scanning its not this actual app that is the problem! Open your app drawer and find barcode scanner hit menu then help/tips

gave it 3stars only because it works fine on my phone but not my tablet.

You need to download barcode scanner before you get too use it but it doesn't even work on my tablet

but neither does other scanner app (1.0.0)

Great app! This adds great functionality to my phone which I use to either assist with installing more apps or assist with grocery shopping.

Work great. Please add an option to hide app from app drawer.

Works Great! Just scan a product and add it to the shopping list. You can also edit the text it adds to the list, and it will remember it.

Very handy... rocks as plugin to OI Shopping List!

Great for tracking groceries as you use them. The app is NOT a scanner, it is the link between a scanner and the OI Shopping List. 5 stars!
