Love this app so much. It does lag a bit going between screens which isn't a problem unless attempting to add or delete a card. It took me a good minute to realize I can scroll to find my other cards and also their is a three card limit. Still good enough for me honestly. Very helpful. Thank you octa.

This app is great since I hardly carry cash anymore. It's easy and convenient! Though it has been starting lag and kick me out of the app. The app forces closed and I'm unable to open it to show my bus pass which is frustrating.

It's a good app except that with the recent update you HAVE to give it permission to use your location. I hate using any apps that require this as I don't like using my location. As it is I have it turned off most times unless I need it.

I like the simple layout and using this instead of fumbling with money is great, but the problem is it absolutely destroys my battery? It drains 4x as fast with this app. Don't know how they managed that with how simple the app is

Finally supports senior/disabled. For those who didn't get their notice in the mail: Create an account and enter your ID # in the reduced fare section. For senior, enter an S before the number. For disabled, enter a D before the number. And that should be it, add your paypal details and you can buy as many passes as you want at $1.50 per day (or 0.75 per single ride). Its better than cash and messing with paper tickets.

This app is becoming available for riders of regular lines. At the moment you can only select "Regular" rider and fares. Other categories should be available by Sunday the 9th. When I can use this app to purchase any denomination of Senior fares I will give it five stars. In order to access the senior fare you must enter a code from the OCTA-provided senior ID card, which is only $4 and good for 7 years. Once done, you have access to senior and disabled fare rates.

App has officially become useless to me after the latest uupdate. It would work fine but now its flawed because some crap about a screen overlay and my phone won't let me use it if I don't access the screen overlay but once I do I'm not allowed to give it permission.

Much too complicated to apply for the senior discount online. It doesn't need to be so difficult. I'm uninstalling the app and not looking back.

Is idiotic that the app does not have offline access to the tickets, even more idiotic that the buses nor bus drivers have not the capability of reading the codes.

I spent $69 on 30 day and had three days left on my pass, but I bought a new phone and when I signed into my account my ticket was gone. I lost three days on my 30 days bus pass and I'm pretty pissed off.

UPDATE: App has gotten slow and buggy. Absolutely horrible bus company. Buses are never on time and drivers as of late are rude, incompetent, lazy, and unprofessional. Useless waste of Orange County bureaucracy. They care more about paying their guys at the top with their huge expensive cars, lavish houses, and expensive vacations and care very little if at all about the average every day citizen, who they pride on short changing. LA Metro app is way better and has much better service. This bus company can care very little about this app along with thwir service. Wirst transit company ib the country!!

I tested this app this app has device id to make sure customer is not using it on multiple devices at once but when you uninstall the app and reinstall it creates new device id for the same phone recently i purchased monthly pass on app and due to internal error the app was reistalled after login it gives me new device id how on earth can i transfer ticket from only device to same one i need my ticket or refund back customer support not good

The app is ok. The bus company needs to learn how to do their damn jobs. Shittiest bus service in California. Passenger is told they'll be reimbursed. It never shows. Passenger is given misinformation by OCTA rep and misses the last express shuttle home, by minutes. Passenger calls to figure out how to get home now on reg buses, which wil be almost 2 hours later than now , AFTER PAYING $8 FOR A ROUNDTRIP TICKET ON THE EXPRESS to get home quickly after work. And passenger is threaten3d with being disconnected if they continue showing any kind of frustration, even tho the passenger has EVERY SINGLE REASON TO BE UPSET SINCE OCTA REP IS THE ONE SENT ME TO THE WRONG DAMN PLACE FORCING ME TO MISS THE EXPRESS IN THE FIRST PLACE. SCREW YOU TOO OCTA. WORTHLESS GOOD FOR NOTHING'S. AND ONLY CARE ABOUT LINING THEIR POCKETS AND NOTHING ABOUT THE PASSENGERS WHO PAY FOR THE SERVICE. Whoever runs this business these days has cometely and utterly ruined it.

App is very convenient. My only problem is that if you have to reinstall the app, you lose all tickets purchased, including any unused tickets. I had to get a new phone due to hardware issues, and I found I had lost ALL of my purchases. It does not store this information on the app, so be warned.

If you have a problem entering the email try everything lower case it worded for me. At the beginning it didn't go through because I typed Gmail then I changed it to gmail and it worked.

If only it would accept my email. This app does not recognize any valid email I enter. So when they fix that, I'll download again.

It makes it a lot easier than looking for your bus pass. If you get a new phone and lose the tickets you have, just call the octa line and they will help you transfer the tickets to your new phone, used or not. Awesome!!!!

I'm liking the app so far. I use it on the regular lines all the time. The only thing I dislike is that some of the bus drivers seem confused as to what they should do when presented with the app. I had one driver hold me up at the front of the bus asking why my pass said it expired so late(it is a 30 day bus pass). Other than that, no problem with the app itself. Maybe just make all drivers more aware of the app.

When will the app have fares available to disabled riders at disabled fare rates? I ride the express line 721 and it would be so much easier to buy a pass than using cash.

You guys need to fix the contact us section things a mess would not let me input my email or phone correctly you should also make it so that we are able to redownload our daypasses if we accedently uninstall the app kinda the reason i needed to use the contact us section
