• Wakelock: To maintain a reliable network connection while querying NTP server
Simple and works.
Please make it show the drift when auto adjusting in the notification bar.
Does not work
Times out immediately with no registered (logged) attempt to access the server.
Doesnt work on zenfone 5
Must be a rooted device.
No sync on android 5.1.1 =(
Not working on ASUS memo pad 7
good
The best solution to set a right time
Handy utility
Does not work on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4
Showed me the time alright but wouldn't sync if my life depended on it.
The root option won't actually set the time. Using clocksync instead.
Still showing wrong time
Does just it says
It's not often that you come across an app with straightforward permissions, simple and effective interface, and working well. This is one of those.
Super easy to use.
A must have app for keeping in perfect time!
Simple and works.
Clocksynch works better for my fone...god knows why?
Useful timesync. Note:needs rooted device to set time. Unrooted devices can only query ntp.
Got it expecting NTP Sync. Got NTP Sync.
Downloaded this for a Samsung Galaxy 2 Tab but it eould never sync the clock. Submitted an email to dev but never heard a word nor did I see any response on the trouble ticket list. Removed app after a couple of weeks.
This Dev is golden! I'd like to see a server database function in a Donate/pay version.
I just downloaded this so,going to give it a test. Unlike others, I only require syncing once daily and/or upon boot. My device receives a restart daily anyway to free up RAM and optimize DB and cache. Plus, I like the consistency of use in the Holo-style.
Does what it sets out too very well. Thanks dev!
does what it should (Dell Streak, StreakDroid)
Once daily?? I need it to sync every 30min... Some roms have serious clock drift and continuous sync is needed.. uninstall
Switched over from using ClockSync which went haywire on the OnePlus One with official Cyanogenmod 11S firmware. NTPSync however worked well. Please keep up the good work. Love it.
My device is rooted and it automatically sets the time and keep it in sync.
Simple, fast, and do its job right. It will be better if they add query time by gps though.
Cheap tablet with buggy clock. This app fixes it perfectly!
go to my phone and stay there! awesome app. careful with root apps, if you donut trust them, who knows what they are doing to your phone.... this is open source, under the GNU gpl version 3, code you can see is code you can trust! thank you dev, for making the world a better place.
Non-rooted phone, however app allows me to quickly query a time server & ensure clocks are correct. Easy.
Like the no-root option
Fails with generic error.
Nice one!
Simple and works.
