Can't login, 401 error

I tried logging in to register... No go ...401 error. Then I tried the register button under the log in which took me through several pages until l reached a page which was cut off on the left and right sides. I could not zoom out to see the whole page and so I could not read the info prompts. Too clunky. Too problematic.
