Kanji Recognizer for Android
it doesnt work. У меня ничего не ищет, выдает одни ошибки. В чем проблема? Та же ситуация с wwwjdic
It works great. People complaining must not understand stroke order
I gave up. finally, I paid for the full version. This program is very useful and solves 100s of my kanji problem.
IT WORKS PERFECTLY FINE, EVEN CONPLEX KANJIS. A lot of people gave 1 star because they dont know the correct stroke order
Useless, doesn't recognize anything
What I've used of it, it is bad
Correct stroke order my ass. It can't find more complex kanjis at all.
It's pretty good, been using it for a while with few issues
Whoever made this was not serious about this app
There"s no OCR & JAFAX soon
Just Great
Excellent
I feel totally comfortable having bought the premium version, though I don't study much these days. Recognizes very well, provided you use the correct stroke order!
It can't find the kanji I'm looking for that are in my textbook
why took so long?
Lucky I found this app.
Very useful. saved me time
If you're expecting to use this to identify kanji you've never learned or don't know the correct stroke order for, it's not for you. It couldn't even identify "今" because I wasn't getting the stroke order right. If it does what you want, then great. I'm glad it works. For me, I was expecting a tool to help recognize kanji I hadn't seen before but wanted to understand and learn. This is not an app that can be used for that.
It's found 100% of what I've looked up so far, even with a couple minor stroke order errors. If you have a basic understanding of the rules that define stroke order, you'll find what you're looking for in no time.
Already downloaded jp comb. compressed for recognition model but still cannot find い word.
Use free version every day when I need to retrieve a kanji whose meaning/on+kun yomi is unknown to me. But, you do have to know the stroke order!
Worst Application Ever!
Nice! Can write some difficult kanji
Have to pay to use. Dont waste time
This is one app I use frequently but after updating on my old Galaxy 5 (YP-G70) I get an error message. Otherwise this is a 5 star. How can I download a previous version?
This is IMHO the best recognizer app around and it works reliably. The interface is nice too, after the last major update. The app icon though, is by far the ugliest of any app I use. Please update the icon!
Super useful app, though there are quite a few kanji I've run into that the app doesn't recognize.
Others are too strict especially if you don't know the right way. This one does it for me
Hello, i love the kanji recognizer but compared to the hanzi recognizer, the japanese version lack of compound research of a word. Is there any update plan to fix this ?

Been using it frequently for the past few months, an essential app. Would really like to have the option to turn on grid lines, i.e. overlaid faint lines that splits the input window into quarters. I think it would help in learning to write the kanji with the correct proportions.
Super useful app. Has been a great help whenever I come across new kanji. Easy to use and great interface.
most people wouldnt know the order of the strokes of the kanji they are searching. difficult to find the correct kanji im looking for. other than that its a good app
It seems useful at first, but it fails to recognize a lot of kanji, even when clearly written out. I prefer other programs over this one honestly.
Needs network to see stroke order and lacks a romaji search
It does just what it says. Recognizes very well, provided you use the correct stroke order!
Unless correct order, will not detect kanji
I always use it to identify kanji I don't know. It always finds the right kanji if the stroke order is correct. I definitely recommend it for those who are learning Japanese.
Quite efficient for finding a kanji. Thanks!

This app can't even recognize basic 1st grade kanji, even with the right stroke order. It's completely useless.
