Tinycore - CPU, RAM monitor for Android
Awesome app. Had a problem with using it, developer replied in no time and now it works just fine
Please help deal with the persistent notification on android Oreo... cannot hide it
great app!
Cool
Ohh my... This is the app I had been waiting foe to come put so that I could monitor my CPU and AM usage all the time without needing to open an app everytime to check. Thank you so much. You saved my life literally. Can you please add support for MIUI? I really need it
Elegant and simple, which sounds like a good thing until you consider what it's used for and the type of person who would use it. I find myself drawn more towards Cool Tool by deviantstudio. Way more involved but gives me more control over more information. TRY THIS APP FIRST THOUGH. Maybe there's still hope for you. My neuroses OWN me.
Well, it does do the job... as long as you like their settings for the free version. I paid for the pro version, but not happy with it - you can personalize it as much as you want, save your settings, but after a short while, it will put itself back to default settings. ANNOYING !!!
Loved it - but got screwed by screen overlay! Simplicity and minimalism are what define this app .... It was Perfect... Till screen overlay issues... now I'm using "Memory Notification Pro" by HDM Dev Team instead
Favorite real-time CPU monitoring app. Updated to Android 8.0 (Oreo) and now no CPU info. :( Awaiting patiently for a fix/update (which may not happen as it was last updated Feb 27, 2016 or March 1, 2016).
My use, real time report of memory usage (remain), does not take up screen space! Viewable most of the time or with just a flick. Clean up apps does not stop this app with the right settings, not a problem for me. ^^
Since it's allowed to overlay the whole screen, it prevents you from changing app permissions until you disable this. Had to narrow it down 1by1 until I figured it wad this app. Not worth the hassle for me.
bought PRO version. Seems good. just 2 problem annoying me. 1st is that the temperature always show high (around 37C), where the other app Im using all the while showing only < 30. 2nd is that the avtive profile get disabled every 30 mins. i need to keep enable it. I had alreadg set whilelist to my boost up app, but this app just disabled too frequent.
Works great. I only have half a gig of ram, so this app lets me know when to use my task manager to close apps before my screen freezes up. Very useful.
it's not working on Android 8.0, can you guys please look into it? The CPU info is now all shows 'not supported'. I tried CPU-Z and still can see CPU info show on that app, maybe CPU info API has changed in Android 8.0.
Most of the apps show these things in rather an app or widget but you guys are a genius. Keep up the good work and come up with great things ahead.
Very nice. Took me a while to figure this out and get it configured, a modest help screen would be nice. Now that I have it configured, it's great for an octacore. I can see which apps are processor intensive.
Update : working . Stopped working after switching from my native launcher to my stock .. tried restarting/ re downloading .. both ram and CPU are frozen
Update: No CPU temperature support for SD 650? Also when changing the colours of the bars maybe you should add a colour wheel which I find is easier to use along with an opacity percentage? That'd be awesome. Awesome app and love the fact you can monitor CPU usage and RAM usage at the top of your navigation bar. Works excellent on my Xperia X on Android 7.1.2.
Good app and does what it says! But sometimes the indicator vanishes from my status bar! Opening the application fixes this but the monitor dissappears again after closing the app from multitasking! Please fix this!
I'm using MIUI and they do support battery bar but I can't customize the color, this app helps override that and also added a couple more infos to display, big thanks, also I decided to get the paid upgrade. It would be more useful if the sticky notification also displays detailed info like battery percentage etc based on active monitors.
GS7, android M (for now), Nova Launcher - - nice small app that is very functional. To the dev, please don't bloat this up with more and more "features". No matter how much people whine.
Those of us who cannot or will not spend $700 or so for a cell phone (upfront or via financing) are sometimes challenged to fit all of the apps we want or need into the relatively limited memory of most affordable phones. This app allows you to have an always visible indication of the amount of memory being used.
I like this app, very small resources needed, using it on my n4, n5, n6p and shield tablet all runs well. Some suggestions: 1. It would be nice to be able to active more than one profile, or give the option to put monitors on different edges. 2. It would be REALLY NICE to be able to have vertical monitors on both edges. I paid for the full app, if seeing more improvement will give higher scores.
I like the design and functionality, but it's not very light weight for what it is. Takes up more memory than my messaging app
Overall very happy. My only suggestion would be a setting to adjust the bar display y-position up or down to compensate for differences between screens... for example on my HTC M8 I can only see the RAM usage bar if I tilt my phone forward 45°.
Gladly paid $1.30 for pro, set up CPU, RAM, battery bars {yellow|green|blue, length ratio 2:1:1) across full notification area. Using with OS Monitor; when Tinycore shows high CPU, I check details in OS Monitor. On my phone (Moto Droid 4), Tinycore's CPU gauge seems to read too high for values >50%, but it's still a useful qualitative gauge. It helped me identify a CPU-hogging widget. Would like option to suppress display when using a full-screen app (e.g., Dock Clock).
Works great! Just bought the Pro version. One thing though, can you add an option to display numeric values together with or instead of bars (e.g. CPU usage % and frequency values...)?
It does what it says. The next development step would be a graph of previous data samples, like Windows Performance Monitor, for the possibility of seeing whether the processor and/ or the memory is a bottleneck. Sampling of the memory I/O would be probably a step to a new, "bigger" product.
Seriously just pay for the full version. Its totally worth every penny. Maybe the only thing I wish they improve on is the interface ? Its abit blend. But then again what's needed is already there.
Well, for $1.30. Lets me see live, per core CPU usage in the bar at the top where the time is. Wasn't sure it was going to do what I wanted it to do until after the purchase, but thankfully it did!
My use, real time report of memory usage (remain), does not take up screen space! Viewable most of the time or with just a flick. Clean up apps does not stop this app with the right settings, not a problem for me.
I like the app, but it's constantly being shut down by Android, (even with the notification enabled) , so I have to keep restarting it. I'd give it 5 stars if this could be fixed. Edit 3/4/16: Latest update fixed problem, upgraded to 5 star.
Revise it so it stays on more tenaciously. I mean running cleanup or AV trips it off requiring a restart! It is good to know if your CPU has a challenge & TINY. Does that and it does not seem to be a resource hog.
And now it says it can help you to maybe get root when your phone but it don't even help you get root he gives you a website to go get root it actually don't even have the root properties when you dive down into the apps background it is has a virus
It's compact without lacking any features I personally wanted. I would really suggest getting the paid version as it really is worth the extra features and completes this perfect little package. I've had no issues with it that others have this far. it works as advertised give it a try if your looking for a monitor you don't be disappointed.
Good app and does what it says! But sometimes the indicator vanishes from my status bar! Opening the application fixes this but the monitor dissappears again after closing the app from multitasking! Please fix this!
like line color change when reaches a particular range, example: line change to color yellow when 80% up then to red when 90% up.
Doesn't show accurate info on Android Nougat, hopefully it gets updated soon.
Hmm, i think this apps can do more like show the number of usage. Please the next update, show the number not only "lines"

Update 11-13-17: Thanks for the reply. Found "Hide with statusbar" option to hide in full screen mode. | Gladly paid $1.30 for pro, set up CPU, temperature, RAM, battery bars (yellow|red|green|blue bars, length ratio 4:2:1:1). Using with OS Monitor, so when Tinycore shows high CPU, I check details in OS Monitor. On my phone, Tinycore's CPU gauge seems to read too high for values above 50%, but it's still a useful qualitative gauge. It helped me identify a CPU-hogging widget.
