iKnow Trees 2 PRO for Android
The quiz the pics are distant on smaller devices, could do with a magnifying option
although i clicked North America it doesn't seem to have a way to isolate northwest (WA) trees all the reference to distribution seem to be East coast or European. which doesn't really help me out different climate. and wrong ocean. i found a really interesting tree and im trying to identify it i even bought the app. but not worth it if i can't separate Westcoast trees from East.
Looking for trees I know are in my area I noticed many missing right away like red mulberry and slippery elm. It also keeps freezing on me. I chose to download the largest pictures yet when I expand them they only take up a quarter of my screen and it's hard to see fine details. I'm very disappointed for the price.
Many trees missing. A lot of the pictures too far to be helpful with identifying.
To much missing in this app, pictures are thumbnail size (just to small to be helpful). Missing a lot of trees, for instance where are all the Hickory trees, they have only one listed, I can name 5 off the top of my head. Yeah, not pleased with this app and what I paid for it.
Needs to have more trees. update the common and latin names to include cultivars and other species of the same genus for example manitoba, autumn blaze, emerald queen, crimson king maples are just a few of the ones that i have not seen. Some pictures are good other aren't making tree id difficult. Freezes after about two quiz attempts. I'm disappointed with what i paid for and would like changes to be made or i will get a refund
The data base of Genus and Species in terrible, nowhere near enough. It's ok for beginners. But anyone who is in the trade will be disappointed.
Missing a lot of trees in the Midwest US - as other users have mentioned. For the price, this shouldn't be the case. Please fix this.
I live in the northeast US most trees Im looking for aren't in here. So far havent found a better app, which is sad.:-(
I have issues in I cannot keep it open all the trees. It wants to open to just a few trees. Great info. I wish size was feet.
Would like to be able to change letter size
Missing a lot of native species in eastern north America
Lacking on the number of species available for having to pay so much. Missing Redbud, Hackberry, Persimmon (American) and Sycamore (platanus occidentalis) to name a few that are most common in Midwest U.S.
Great pics
This App has really a lot in it. Hundreds of pictures, lots of information about every kind of tree you can imagine, a quiz game, a filter function to help you identify trees. I love it.
If you like to take hikes in the forest with your family, this is the app for you. It makes the forest so much more interesting when you can check with your kids all the different tree names. I feel like a forest ranger when i read all the information to my kids and they really get into the topic. The quiz game is a really nice addition.
The information is extensive and the structure is very clear. Trees can be identified quite easily. You select different features and get a good result with eligible species. The image download takes a while. No wonder, it’s 450MB!!!
Won't fully load images making app unusable. No way to restart download after it stops prematurely. Waste of money

This is a very good app to learn about the species on the move. I love hiking and biking. I bought also other apps of this type, but this is certainly the best for trees.

This is the most frustrating app I've ever tried. Menus lead to pages of useless information. Endless loops, dead ends, back & forth cycling - all for nothing.
