Nice and clear and having recordings of calls along with pictures really helps to identify the birds

Great little app, most species present, goof pics and sounds.

My 18 month old grandson loves the pictures and the sound tracks, and so do I.

Beautiful photos. Easy to look up. Nice birdsong. It's very helpful and I use it a lot.

Good App, great for learning bird calls but the image and voice quiz are too easy. There is one mistake with I'd, the Rough-legged Buzzard profile is replaced with pictures, sounds and info of Tengmalms Owl. Not a massive problem however it is slightly disappointing that the Buzzard is not actually covered. I WOULD recommend the App!

Very disappointed! It is a small number of European bird pictures with Wikipedia links. It was a waste of money. I am so feeling ripped off.

This is a great app with loads of clear pictures and bird song. Recommend highly.

Lovely images, very clear in full screen view. Great sound clips although some are too short.

Very slick but some of the data a little dodgy. Would be better with option to filter for family, export options, more species and a means to compare birds or at least to move easily from one to another through a filtered list. And for the love of all that's holy people, distribution maps!

As good as any books with the added benefit of sound.

The amount of species available is rather minuscule compared to the amount of indiginous species available so hopefuly the range will be increased

I did not see anywhere that this app only contained 230 European birds.

Frustrating initially as it wouldn't complete the download, but problems now ironed out and worth every penny.

Coming from ios there really wasn't the choice of high quality birding apps, until this one, might be expensive, but worth it for uk birders

Very slow download-very poor support

This app has been very helpful getting my husband and I started in bird watching. My only complaint is that it doesnt have enough birds, mostly the common ones. However, i would spend the money again! Worth every penny.

Great app for checking birdsong and appearance when bird watching. However some common species do seem to be missing, I couldn't find gannet, whooper or bewick swans, for example.

Lots of clear photos, audio of songs and calls. You can filter the bird list by entering observed characteristics. The English translation has many errors

No complaints. I also purchased the RSPB app, what a joke. It is an application rapped around website. All you get is a poxy bit of txt in a small box. This app is a million times better.

Simply not worth the high asking price. Too many common birds missing. First three birds I looked up were not included, so had to go back to my pocket bird book. And comment tab doesn't work so I can't even complain. Robbery!

I carried out a recent update, and the whole thing is now in German rather than English. Merkel rules? All OK now - should have checked it out first.

A really well put together reference application. Easy to follow, exellent pictures and the sound samples are a gem. Well done!

I like it a lot

Love this app apart from one aspect. It keeps crashing at the end of the quiz sometimes. Emailed query, to be told to delete app and reinstall, which does sort the problem, but it gets a little frustrating! I would still recommend it as the bird info and quiz are excellent to improve your knowledge and recognition.

very enjoyable and easy to use after initial problems (operator ignorance!) now I would like one dedicated to sea birds and waders!

Very impressed with the detailed information about species but found it covered relatively few British waders - the group of birds most likely to cause identification problems. In fact this app includes fewer species than some rather cheaper apps around. Nevertheless - quite useful.

Great app hope you will add more British birds. Few glitches such as the bird you name as a Rough legged buzzard is an owl. Good for developing ID skills

Quite expensive and takes a while to download but its just what I wanted. Calls and visual aids...better then carrying a book.

Amazing pictures and birdcalls! So handy for identifying birds without the need for an internet connection. All in all great value for money.
