LayerPaint for Android
Disappointing.
grande
I loved it, but suddenly lately all the drawings I do are saving with crap qaulity, all the pixels burst. Don't know if this is a problem with any new updates, but its causing problems for my art blog :/
I can't open my files anymore. Please fix this.
I have been using this app for a few months now and I will say that overall, I'm pretty happy about its features and abilities. I highly recommend it to anyone who uses photoshop, it's way better. If I can suggest maybe a few more brushes. I love the blending brush. Great application.
Pros: Bucket fill tool / can export with transparent background / layers / alpha lock "clipping". Found the non-uniform transform tool under the select tool. You must first enable pro mode in app settings. Cons: Does not have a basic circle tool. Version 1.5.0
you could add a wand selection tool.
its actually really good but I cant seem to turn the picture at all just Flip it and its really annoying; When i import some pictures the show up on there sides and I cant seems to rotate them. i would also like to import more pictures into one file
Normally I can get a refund within the first few minutes of using an app. I never had the option not even right after purchasing. This is not worth a single cent. Free apps can do more
I thought from the screenshots that this app would be a full featured painting application. But, in my opinion, it's not anywhere close to that for my tastes. First off, the lines and strokes I've drawn in the app, well, they are all jagged and full of artifacts. There doesn't appear to be any high definition rendering in the app, hence the jagged artifacts. Also, I figured that since this was a painting application, that it would offer many brushes and other painting tools. While it does have a few interesting tools like the gradient, you only get ONE single brush that I saw! Seriously, one single brush in a painting application?! That is insane in my opinion. There is only so much that I believe you can accomplish with one single type of brush. I am seriously disappointed with this app. With all of the other painting apps available on the Market, that offer so much more in my opinion. Well, I'm sorry to say that I'll be uninstalling this app and getting a refund. Thanks and God bless.
Great app that has the tools needed for drawing sketches as well as more complex paintings. Tools and configurations are always easily accessible.
I think the Transform function was one of the things I wanted most in this app and you delivered PLUS more! Great job guys. 5 stars are well deserved! People rating this lower have never used photoshop or understand the importance of the functions.
Buuuut please the "selection tool" i need it, can you make an update on that and maybe more options that normal, multiple, add/light for the layers...pleeease
It's very good on a tablet but the interface for the phone version really doesn't work well for me. The tablet version feels more like a desktop program than any other app. Not as feature rich as some other apps but it's one of my go to apps on my Note Pro 12. I hope that the interface will be redesigned. Eraser and undo need to be always available like Infinite Painter. Allow eraser assigned to stylus button. That kind of stuff is good.
I used this app for 3 years on my Galaxy S3 and it was great, now I switched on a Galaxy S6 but I'm having issues with the single touch. When I disable it also the pen doesn't work. Please fix it so I'll be able to use this wonderful app also on another smartphone.

Works well on Galaxy note 2. Can get the effects you want easily with simple interface. Layering also extensive enough.
This app is a waste of money. I wanted to import an older drawing and the app just closed. ●︿●

Fantastic.
Perfect for me
been using LayerPaint for 2 years now on my Galaxy Note 2, and now the Note 4. It has a bit of a lag problem on the note 4 for some reason, but is still perfectly usable. My only concern is with continued use, the toolbar on the bottom can burn in to AMOLED screens, after 2 years its permanently burned in to my note 2. Maybe some sort of setting to hide the toolbar, like what was done with the Action Bar, with a small out of the way button in the corner to quickly bring the toolbar up could prevent this.
No pen pressure calibration which sucks, I don't know why they'd take this out. Otherwise 5 stars..

Best painting software ever. It can even handle 2x HD resolution with tons of layers without any problem. Sure the interface aren't as intuitive as sketchbook pro but it's still much simpler learning curve than desktop softwares. Felt like I've been scammed by autod*** with their sketch**** pro after I found this one. Great job, developers. Instant 5 stars from me.
I don't understand how this app gets so many good reviews. I tried drawing with this app and it was frustrating to say the least. I tried Sketchbook and its 100x better so I'm going with it. I'm mad that I wasted 3 bucks on this app. S Note has better drawing tools. If I could get a refund for this I'd happily take it.
Everything you can imagine an upgrade to be from the basic S Pen software that comes with the Galaxy Note 2. For someone who wanted to sketch for fun and draw a bunch of comic style things as well as quick storyboards for work, this is just a perfect "little photoshop". Best app I've ever paid for. Multiple layers, brush styles, opacity, clipping masks, fill command, and more.
Very nice. Please add more "painter" features and clone, smear, blur brushes. Ability to save and open tiff with layers to continue the work in photoshop.oh and add a feature request button on settings. :)
They keep updating with some really cool features. This app is worth every penny if you are looking for something resembling Photoshop.
I'm not graphic artist, but I love to sketch and this is an awesome suite. similar to gimp.

By far the best drawing app I've used so far. Works wonderfully and is surprisingly versatile. The only downside so far that I've found is a lack of a transform tool. If they add that it will be pretty much prefect. Edit* with the latest update layerpaint has supassed being a wonderful toy and has become a tool any pro should be happy to add to thier kit.
This is an absolute must have for anyone with a pressure sensitive pen device, like the galaxy note series. A very well designed application, almost perfect.
It's one of the best drawing applications for android. But it needs color blending modes like in photoshop. Most important are color, overlay, multiply and screen. Also it needs custom brush setings .It's very important to be abale to tweak the s-pen pressure how much to effect the size or the opacity of the brush.
I've tried about half a dozen of the popular android drawing apps. This one definitely has the most straight forward and intuitive interface. It's so far been my favorite, and I'm going to buy the full version rn :)
Get a few odd bugs now and again but it's still awesome . worth It!
A solid drawing app. For mobile, anyway. It would be great if you could name your files when you saved them and not have the program reset its tool settings to default whenever you closed the program. The only flaws of this app, in my opinion.

This is my go to ap for drawing for a couple years now. I wish there was some way to copy layers, other than that, I've no problems with it.
