it's asking me to install SPEECH SYNTHESIS DATA INSTALLER in order to have the app actually pronouncing the verbs. i've installed everything, but it still won't work. I also have the spanish version which works fine... other than it's okay.

The concept is good but the grade 1-5 system is not exactly fonctional: relies on your own judgement. Very basic.

(HTC desire) This app displays a menu of four options: Home page on the web, Email the author, Rate this app More language apps. While each of these works, they don't help me learn Portuguese. The menu button does not give any more options

Heading off to Brazil soon, and am using this app as much as I can to learn verbs and conjugations. It's been great so far, thanks! What about allowing for translation tests in the opposite direction though? I've learned to translate many of the Portuguese verbs, but when trying to go FROM English TO Portuguese, I often can't remember the word. Or am I just missing something about how to do this? Adding this functionality would definitely make a 5-star app!

Jessie, please read the help section for how to customize existing drills and create new ones. Disabling the "tu" form is as simple as clicking on the pronoun screen and checking off that form. It also helps to explore the various configuration option available via the preference key.
