TelStop for Android
Love it ..
Same here on Nexus S - 4.1.1 When set as default I cannot make any calls. Catches codes but sends normal numbers to the phone dialer every time without actually calling
After upgrading to version 1.8 I can make phone calls as usual. Motorola Defy XT (Republic Wireless), Android 2.3.7.
This app does not allow outgoing calls to be placed. Dialer will not connect call even after selecting TelStop. I uninstalled the app and calls work fine. Would like to use this app successfully.
Works great. And I made default dialer app for web links telstop. Default stock dialer for all other dialing. Peace of mind! But... just got an update for lookout security that takes care of this hack too so uninstalled.
DROID RAZR MAXX Set as default app; unable to make outgoing calls; wonder if app will protect even though not default. If so, will change rating to 5-Star!

Dont set it as default. Let it prompt you witch is safer anyways
Works as described, fixes a major security hole, and the price is right. Thankyou!
Hw every ussd code for vodafone is malacious. Surprised.
Can't make calls when set as default :-(
Po prostu działa
Droid razr. Same issue as others. Doesn't pass call through. Uninstalling.
This is a great apps
Does what is says
Thanks!
I tried the "other" app of this type, and prefer the way this one behaves. I appreciate it, because thanks to the crapware known as ROM Manager, I cannot install Android updates. Now, with transparent mode, it's even better. My only suggestion would be an option to either have a double warning or (perhaps better) a countdown before "Call" can be tapped, to help prevent accidental activations of malicious USSDs. (This is NOT overkill--we are talking about someone being able to wipe your device with ONE tap.)
Appreciate the effort but if I choose Telstop as a default dialer app I will not be able to make any call. It shows ICS default dialer with only the last three digits of the selected phone number.
FYI - if this doesn't work automatically after installing, you may have to change your dialer app association in Settings.
Installed, tried the test page, just brings up the regular "Complete action using Dialer or TelStop," no warning. Guess I'll just have to be careful.
Love it ..
It works. That is what is important. Protecting our investment & our contacts. Many thanks.

Knowing there is an exploit out there to wipe your phone just by clicking a link is quite scary, thanks to the developer my phone is no longer vulnerable. Great app to have, and it is free!
Light weight, non-intrusive, reliable. Not sure why this functionality isn't built into the OS.
Good to see someone looking out for us in the minefield of smartphones.

Does what it should and nothing else. Perfect.
I would like to put this on the SD card instead of using phone memory.
S2 4.0.4 stock uk. still needs this .
But please make a better looking icon :)
Great job, thanks for fixing this issue.
Fast update and improvement cycle for an ugly android threat.
Trigger the request for default handler in app. Open a browser window to a test page for the user? (Couldn't read white text on transparent background.) Test page not cell phone friendly. I had to zoom in (Firefox). I like it. CM7.1 HTCDHD
Thanks for creating this!
HTC Rhyme S510b with Android 2.3.5. Whenever I dialed my landline or my wife's mobile and selected Telstop, the app crashed. Other odd things were happening with the phone's connec tions, so I uninstalled the app and rebooted --- all OK now. Clearly some simple bug, and I will reinstall the app when I am reassured that the bug is fixed. Update for v1.8. Now seems to work OK on the test page --- thanks very much. SUGGEST put test pages on "Settings". I took 10 minutes to find them back on Google Play.
Does not work on my razr. I get the same warning dialogue pop ups when I click on either test page. It also comes up when I click on links that I know are safe such as my office website.
Used to force-close everytime it ran, but now it does the job.
Perfect

3 stars until it happens again. Received an 'incorrect USSD' message followed by a connection error so here I am.
