Still a great browser. Since I first used Ubuntu, it has been my browser for Android, Linux and Windows. Has gotten a little bulky and there are changes I dont like. I gave 3 stars because Im shopping for one that is what Firefox was. Still havent found better. Maybe I should make my own.

There's a persisting bug (at least for my phone, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4) that when I closed the app, the tabs that I left open (I've set the app to keep the tabs I opened last time) won't load -- even when I reload the tabs. Sometimes it happens to a blank tab too, where I can't load the URL I've typed. Currently my way of getting around it is to keep clearing my phone memory whenever I left the app -- but it will oftentimes forget the tabs I've had open in the sessions before. I promise I'll give it a 5 if this has been resolved! Thank you, Mozilla!

It's good to have great extensions and themes and all goods that firefox gives us, but the browser is still a lot slower and crappier than some competitors. Using firefox is not just as smooth as it could be. One big thing (that you can't really do anything about) is the google search old looking ui which makes browsing even more crappier. I'd like to see firefox that's as fast, smooth and good as the desktop firefox is.

Hate the all the white every where. Hate pocket. Stopped using Firefox on my computer for that reason. All the white hurts my eyes making it completely unusable. It says in the picture above protect yourself from trackers. But it's turned off by default. Dumb if you ask me. Always get untrusted connection. Making it useless. Where is the home button???

W70%
by W####:

Scrolling is slow and not very responsive. See your own Firefox Focus or Edge for how it should be done. Or at least give the option for faster scrolling. But I do love the image blocking option! It's what keeps me using this when I leave the house. Otherwise I don't use it because of the terrible scrolling.

Thank you, love this browser. Please, one feature request: I have 100+ tabs open, please provide an option that restricts tabs using the cpu which are not used. Many times, Firefox is the main thing draining my battery. Thanks guys! Good work! EDIT: As far as I know they did this with the new version. THX!

NOOOOooooooo! Bring back the widget! How could you remove it? Evil mozilla. Switched from Chrome just for the Extensions! But please make the widget stretchy! And improve extension functionality: this will make the experience truly unique. I even use this browser for Youtube instead of the dedicated app.

by T####:

I've used multiple browsers in the past, but I always come back to Firefox. Honestly, in my opinion - nothing else really compares. Between the endless options in terms of customization, add-ons and the general layout/functionality - it's hard to beat! I use it for everything, everyday. I'd definitely recommend!

Works well with nearly all mobile sites. New features are nice and stay out of the way. Crashes rarely, though some sites are still slow. Always enable zoom helps with too clever mobile pages and the QR scanner is more useful than I expected. Most importantly, native support for ad blockers to increase speed and reduce data usage.

T70%
by T####:

I use Firefox for all my internet needs, but lately the Android app has been very RAM greedy. Any other apps I have running are force-closed when the browser opens. I'm on a Nexus 5X, so it's not like my hardware is inadequate. I would love to be able to listen to music while browsing. I hope Mozilla can reduce the RAM needs of this app or maybe make a lightweight version.

T70%
by T####:

I really like the add-ons, even if there aren't that much. But why doesn't Firefox let me open Web pages linked to apps open with the linked apps automatically? Please make it so if I click on the little app button next to the url, it says, "just once or always". Performance could be a lot better too.

by T####:

Great supplement to my Chrome browser. I use desktop Firefox as well. I don't have chrome or internet explorer or opera or any other browser install on my laptop PC. Just Firefox on my laptop. I don't need 2 or 3 browsers. Just one main one . Great extensions add-ons.. I have a the web extension block to block certain websites and domains I can add certain ad domain popup tabs as need. Or any other website. I found a good ad blocker and popup blocker. Makes browsing more easy. Also Firefox is supported by more sites than Chrome or Opera. Certain sites won't work if you're not using Firefox. Great job developers. Nice UI.

Latest update app crashes when going to tab view on Android 7.1.1

T70%
by T####:

Recent update is awful, closes randomly and sometimes freezes

T70%
by T####:

Was working reasonably well. But last update is full of bugs. App not showing web page despite loading it. Shows as white space. Random freezing too

D70%
by D####:

The app randomly freezes too often for me. Sometimes I try to open a page or enter something in the search bar and it won't do anything until I force stop the app or close and open the tab. It used to work perfectly fine until the updates in the last 2 or 3 months.

I just compare with chrome, most of website loaded in chrome is more lightweight than firefox, means more laggy in firefox even sometimes not responding. Sorry to say but it's true. But I think you still can improve better to get the same experience as chrome even better. I like the firefox UI btw.

T70%
by T####:

App is completely useless in multi-screen mode. Becomes extremely laggy and unresponsive. When in desktop mode nothing responds. Searching for videos in the YouTube site doesn't work either. It just keeps loading the home page. Sorry but this browser app is terrible. Better apps on the market. Uninstalled

H70%
by H####:

Has an annoying habit of loading a page 9/10 of the way and then hanging for a looong time. I get annoyed and switch to another browser. Love that I can long press a photo and loaded directly as a contact picture. Automatic 2 stars off for not able to shift this humongous app to an SD card.

T70%
by T####:

Still love the UI so I keep coming back but it is only compatible with 85% of websites. New Version refuses to honor the navigate back button. Just sits there after pushing back. Eventually FF may respond after 30 seconds or so. Just so many crashes and hangs.

T70%
by T####:

Fantastic! And I'm SOOOO happy that they didn't screw this Firefox up like they did for pc's. I only wish I could have this Firefox on my laptop instead of the horrible new version. (Actually, I'd just love to be able to knock back the new Firefox to the version before it.) Thank you Mozilla for leaving this one alone, at least.

X70%
by X####:

The "add to home screen" button is an interesting addition. I love the idea of Progressive Web Apps, and I like the unobstrusive approach here. I have my doubts that non-technical users will make use of it, though. Anyway, Firefox is great: it's open source, and friendlier than Chrome. I love AddOns—being able to browse the mobile web with AdBlock is a beautiful thing. These days, mobile browser usage is tied to desktop—you want to use whatever is easiest to go back and forth between on your tabs, whether it's Chrome, FF, Edge, or Safari (iPhoners only). I like the philosophy behind the Mozilla team, so they're my pick.

T70%
by T####:

And now you take away my firefox search widget. I already feel naked without it. Wth is wrong with you. Firefox going down hill if you ask me. What would it hurt to leave it in as an option for me to use? I like the search panel and hate google/chrome. Bring it back.

T70%
by T####:

Tabs started to freeze after update. I'll enter something to search for, and then it just sits there. It doesn't load or let me go back. I have to make a new tab and try searching again.

T70%
by T####:

This remains my favourite browser on both tablet and desktop. I've so rarely had any problems with it, and the annoyances are few and far between. Options allow me to get it to work the way I prefer. What more could I want?

T70%
by T####:

Sometimes pages appear zoomed inand you can't zoom out with your fingers so you can't do nothing. When you try to install add ons, you realize is proposing you windows add ons not android ones. I is much worse than i expected from firefox: my main browser in pc. Oh, and video downloaders gave up working.

T70%
by T####:

I don't know why, but it looks like Firefox doesn't disconnect me from my accounts. For example, when I disconnect from Google or Outlook. When I open Firefox again, I'm already connected? Even deleting my history does not work! (I don't have this problem on desktop...)

T70%
by T####:

Well Mozilla, after 15 years you made it. I abandoned ff both on desktop and now with this sick update on android too. Good job! Edit after a few months: it still sucks, many options are gone, the new homepage layout not only sucks but is unmodifiable. I gave it another try, but this app is irreversibly broken. I can't stand it.

T70%
by T####:

[using Android 4.4.2.] On some websites, Firefox is slow. But, on other websites it's VERY slow (sometimes downloads took 10 to 15 times longer than Chrome). It also has a delayed response to touchscreen commands. However, I liked that it had a much smaller file size than Chrome (my phone's storage space is very limited). But for me, it was way too slow to be useful.

Almost from last 6 updates, I am continuously saying to fix your PDF conversion via print & print to PDF option. But u are just damn good to not listen. It's worst in this conversion and hence, can't replace other browsers completely or can't be used for important or official works.

T70%
by T####:

Looks quite good. But it's a real pain in the ass a lot of times. I'd like to see that the page is loading. It's a very basic thing but very often the page looks stuck, but it's actually loading. And the other thing I hate is that it' very hard to refresh a page. I just want to swipe lile in Chrome. When these points are fixed and apps open wehen clicking on a maps link for example. I'll give it 5 stars.

T70%
by T####:

Awfully slow and unresponsive. All other browsers do everything instantly. I'd like to use Firefox across my devices because its pc version is flawless... but it's not going to happen.

T70%
by T####:

When it's no longer compatible with commonly used pages like Google apps, it is doomed. Once the best browser available, it is rapidly developing into irrelevance. There must be a way to enhance security without disabling every useful feature.

T70%
by T####:

This app is worse than freaking Google. If I didn't need a search engine then I wouldn't even freaking bother trying to find one that actually works. I don't know which one Of hate more Google or this one. This is not even worth the one ????

Amazing app awesome web browser refuse to use anything else forget microsoft edge and all thoughs pathetic virus traps firefox doesnt download without autherization first. You can tell it where to download to instead of always going straight to downloads. Cocompads with almost all anti virus quite well, and havent once received a virus using firefox..... Not to say it's just because firefox is top in anti virus software. But again cocompads with virtualy most nicely and if you know what anti virus to use with it it's almost impossible to get a virus... THANK YOU FIREFOX, CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND PROGRAMMERS. To all of you great work and thank you for all your previous help and help to come. Plus for a great web browser that smooth fast and simple KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK.. And like the new web document "view" format option cleans up the screen really nice and helps sort out what your looking for.

Every few weeks my pinned sites & bookmarks disappear into thin air replaced with Amazon links. For self-appointed protectors of user's privacy you don't set a great example. Reliability is zero. And no I dont want to link all devices/upload to a cloud to help your databases on users become as comprehensive as Google's. If you say it, mean it, or don't say it. Users are not live guinea pigs for constant testing of changes to the program.

Ruined with most recent update: too slow, gets stuck, loads empty pages, lost downloader. I used to prefer this to Chrome, but there's no comparison now. Losers.
