Seafood Watch

I have a teenager who has decided not to eat seafood for environmental reasons. This app will help us help her make good choices and still keep seafood in her diet. I do have one suggestion. It would be great if the app had a barcode scanner for pre-packaged seafood. If you upgrade the app to include a barcode scanner I'm totally changing my review to 5 stars!!

Seafood and Sushi A-Z lists are empty and search can't find salmon, shrimp etc.. Says they were not found.

App does not have any populated lists on my tablet running marshmallow. On my wife's S5 and my S7 it works great. Also both running marshmallow. Please fix. Tablet is ZTE-K88

If it also included information about mercury levels and PCBs I would give 5 stars. Otherwise the app is pretty useful for making eco-friendly decisions, if not healthy ones.

There is nothing in the A-Z lists and it found nothing when I searched "flounder," "tilapia" and "halibut." Uninstalled and reinstalled with the same results.

When I tried to look for a particular fish the information would not load. Not good at all. Many bugs with this app.

Does not seem to work in the EU, is that correct? If so, are there any alternatives? Love the idea. This should be there for meat as well.

Doesn't work in Canada. Was hoping it tapped into the ocean wise program here too.

I try to reduce my seafood consumption, but if you can't, get this app and check before you buy.

Love the concept but the new version has a lot of problems looking up some fish. "Tuna" gave me 0 results and the overview wouldn't populate on fish that did appear.

There seems to be no information in the list. When I open the sustainable seafood a-z it's blank

Very informative, and easy to use. I'm definitely going to use this when buying seafood, and ordering from restaurants.

I think that in the description you should also add that sustainable food tastes better.

When you respect Mother Earth and all she provides then you are protecting the future.

When you back from a page it goes back to the top of the alphabet. Make it stay in the last position before you chose to look at a fish species. Besides some improvements, it's a good app.

Just installed and began to search. According to the app, the only place around I can find sustainable seafood is WF. I live in Rhode Island. You know, the Ocean State. Deleting.

Please update for current version of Android. I loved the app on previous versions

Poor customer service... at the aquarium last week, i asked how to get in touch with the people who put this list together. I was directed to the app, but the link to mail a question to doesnt work! I want to learn why CA ocean troll caught salmon arent considered sustainable.

I like using it when I go out to eat or when I'm shopping for fish.

Unfortunately clicking on buttons did nothing. Search function did not work either.

I'm not sure how to get reliable info if I'm located in Canada.

What about stores such as Kroger, Harris Teeter, Walmart. Give them props or call them out on products. It would be a nice add.

In addition to its beauty it is a great app to help make better choices.
