It'll be cool if it was like a pokedex like take a picture of an animal by you and it'll show you the whole thing.

Many species are missing. The database of insects is quite limited.

This app thinks alligators exist in the blue ridge mountains of Va! No mention of the common black snake.

No insects! Just dragonflies, bumble bees and butterflies! I'd like to see some insects such as mantises and caterpillers! And I searched lions and nothing came up except butterflies. I would've expected at least the iconic animals to be here!

Pls add information about insects and I'll give you five star. Good work otherwise.

Pretty cool app which let's you know the species around you. Hopefully in the future you'll be able to take a picture and it tell you which species it is.

I really like the app but it's not accurate. Searched areas I knew about some species existing but they are not listed.

I'm pretty impressed with this app. I didn't have high expectations, but this app does a fairly good job of identifying what species you might encounter in an area. And then it has some pretty good info for species too. Some of the taxonomy is out-dated, but for general information app, it's not bad. Won't replace field guides or reference texts, but for an off-the-cuff in-the-pocket resource, not bad.

Bad design is the least that can be said about an app that most likely would be used on the wild, away from any Internet connection, without which it simply does not work!

Really, informative app. Providing nomenclature of local diversification. Moreover, should include d floral part of d vicinity also at large.

I wanted to look up my newer visitors that i hadnt seen in past years like the rich green bodied bees. Also those crazy looking worm/snake appearance things that climb the walls and fence, some of which have a little head that is rounded but otherwise reminisent of a hammer head shark in micro. I dont know if they are giant neematodes or what. Eventually i would like to see notes on differentiators between area similar species (i.e. the posionous to dogs often called bufo frog vs the other...)
