Mnemosyne

It's a great app in general. Just there's an issue meaning that I have to do a full resync when new cards have been added from the desktop app, rather than transitional sync as usual.

Tried to sync but it doesn't work. I read some instructions but they only left me more confused and frustrated than before. Sucks, because the desktop version is awesome and I'd love to be able to use it on my mobile device as well.

It didn't work for me even after good support I had.

I downloaded the app and it won't open. When I press the icon to open it, it flashes the 'unfortunately...... Cannot open' dialogue on androidand closes. I don't even get to a screen for the app.

Can't quit. There is no way of closing this app. I had to turn off my tablet, so I could uninstall this.

i want my offline downloaded data on my ext SD card folks. This is lollipop, so please edit that XML for the apk and give me a popup dialog to make my choice. Marshmallow? Nougat? Even Google music play gives me the option on this Marshmallow. Simple. YOUR RESPONSE indicates you did not grasp what I said. SDCARD != ext SD Card in Android as SDCARD1 or other.

This is one of my favorite apps ever! It has been so helpful. You can use it to learn just about anything.

I've heard great things about Mnemosyne, but the app wouldn't even start - repeatedly said something about archiving logs. Maybe I'll give the desktop version a go.

When I try to sync I am told to "upgrade my client", but it does not say how to do that. I just got this program from the app store, so how can it be outdated.

This is a good supplement to the desktop software, but i wish there were a way to add cards on the app, it would be more convenient. Also, I'm not sure if this is a common problem as I'm using a Galaxy S2, the top of the flashcard is obscured by the menu bar, meaning I often can't see some od the phrase I am reviewing.

Functions well and does what it's supposed to do, but the interface is not very user friendly. Half of the time, my questions are cut off at the top so I can't read them, and there's no scrolling function implemented to solve this issue. Please fix it! Edit: Now it will not sync at all. Don't waste your time with this app, use anki instead or just use Mnemosyne on your computer if you can deal with the hassle. Now I have lost all of my progress. Regret using this app.

Mnemosyne use ultimate technology to help learning based on leitner method but non user friendly app do not satisfy user please check cram flashcard or honeyword to understand my point also let user use app independent without need a desktop version

The app is good but the menu button required to access the sync function does not appear. The menu button was present on my previous phone but I am now using lg g3, so I presume the problem is phone specific

Cannot use the app as there is no way to access menu to sync with server. I’m using Samsung Galaxy tab S2 and have no such problem with any other app.

Cannot get the menu on the phone so i cant sync back completed cards to the pc. Yes I read the instructions but I cant find a 3 button link anywhere. The app is full screen, and dragging up from the bottom of the screen just shows my open apps to select between. Is that where the 3 button link is supposed to be? Hardware buttons closes app or goes back to the main menu raises and lowers volume as well as shutting down. Mine is Android 5.1 Flyme 4.5.3A

Changed four computers. Get the same message: can't connect to service.

ISSUE SOLVED: Have really enjoyed the desktop version for awhile. For the app, I followed the instructions in the documentation, and I'm running 2.3.1 on my desktop. I get the "Sync failed, restoring from backup. The next sync will need to be a full sync" error that others have complained about. I am saving to a "default.db" in the main desktop folder C:Users(username)AppDataRoamingMnemosyne. What did I do wrong? Was I not supposed to tamper with the default.db? SOLUTION: Delete all old config and default files from C:Users(username)AppDataRoamingMnemosyne, then reinstall, then save desired database as default.db replacing the default data base.

I like mnemosyne but all attempts to sync it with this new app fail.

Please provide specific instructions on how to sync using Android device
