About Weather Alarm
Weather Alarm is an application which warns you of an incoming precipitation (rain, snow, hail), especially useful it is for predicting incoming storms and hail.
Our main algorithm is based on real-time calculations of radar images of selected country and runs on our servers.
That give us ability to predict direction and speed of surrounding precipitation for a proximately 2 hours ahead.
This application is especially suitable when you are having outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, motorcycling, biking, ... or it can remind you, that you have to move your car in a safe place when a hail is coming towards you.
Weather alarm also shows you animated radar image over google maps.
Currently available for:

Slovenia,
Croatia

The main advantage of this application is in REAL-TIME
- reading direction,
- strength and
- speed
of an incoming precipitation.
That means, that it does not warn you in situations when precipitation cell is near you, but it is not coming towards you. It can also show you estimated time of precipitation cell arrival.
Application runs in a background and when it detects possibility of precipitation, it displays an icon in a top left corner of your mobile device. The icon represents the strength of an incoming precipitation.
The majority of calculations is done on our servers. That is why Weather Alarm is a battery friendly application.
Currently available for following countries:
Slovenia, Croatia, parts of Italy, parts of Austria, USA, S parts of Canada
Information that are shown to the user:
- is there a danger of an incoming precipitation
- number of precipitation cells
- Strength of the closest cells
- distance of the closest cell
- Estimated time of arrival of the closest cell
For detailed view of situation above you, you can check graphics presentation of your location and precipitation cells around you.

On some new devices you have to add an exception in battery settings for this app, otherwise the app won't notify you for an incoming rainfall. You can contact me for more detailed instructions.

The app didnt get my location as it seems to be a bug with my.phone and didnt show any warnings. The map also didnt show any weather movement.

Let's me know when there is rain coming. But, as for any other weather, I strongly recommend having more than just one weather app. The other night, my city was hit with tornados and weather alarm read "no danger." My other apps were sounding off and the sirens were also going off and we did get hit with tornadoes. I do like weather alarm for predicting rain though.

I don't like how its says Danger light rain.... I only want it flashing danger when something life threatening like a tornado or a sever storm is coming, not light rain. If u could get it to only say danger when an actual life threatening storm is coming that would be awesome and I'd give 5 stars then

I keep getting a message stating that it stopped working. And I can't get app off of silent alarm, everytime I try to add sound, I get stop working msg! What good is app if you can't hear weather warning??

Can not get alerts for my area, east tn. Weather has been in the 60's and sunny. App tells me hail and snow in next 10 min. Have no idea what part of the world it's talking about.

This app is not great too many false alarm also not accurate in speed of the Storm Data way off maybe 70 percent of the time
