Great improvement to using legacy expense applications like Netsuite. Main challenges are VERY slow receipt scanning, often scans silently fail, and app is not that intuitive for submitting expenses once scan is done

Good, not great. One big thing I would recommend is allowing the user to save default settings for the different categories when recording an expense. It's real tedious having to scroll through all the difficult options with every expense.

Good enough. The scan doesn't yield accurate dollar amount. It's easy to use. App and website is good. Submitting expenses is great. Would have been good to set the international exchange rate manually. Good enough.

The reason I wanted this app (it recognizing info from a picture of your receipt and filling out your expense) consistently fails to recognize or crashes the app. So it's good for tracking but that's about it. I have a pixel, so maybe it's better on other phones?

Been doing expenses reports for almost 10 years and I have never seen an app that makes this expenses so easy and on the go.... What it used to take me 2 hours per week now is juts a few minutes

As a overseas user I anticipate multiple currencies and stand alone version. Doing everything on your server don't have any control on collected data. The idea of scanning receipts is great but wasn't to hear more about my privacy shield. Thank you.

This app has been pretty disappointing. It's not very user intuitive. I am currently looking for something else. They get you in at $5 a month and before the first month is over they Jack your rate up. They're increasing the rate per $10 a month which is the reason I didn't go with QuickBooks. But I will try QuickBooks now because there is no difference in pricing.

I dont use most of the functionality of this app but great for simply storing and later finding receipts when completing reports

This app is easy to use to catalog expenses. We use it to keep track of how the store card is used and it's easy to send in a report each month from expensify!

Great to platform to scan all your bills and not worry about loosing them. :)

It's getting there. It should be easier to auto populate fields within the same report

Scanned a total of 17 receipt then demanded I pay. Really disappointed. Won't even let me rescan the scans that failed. eMailed help. It was no help at all. Apparently, they don't tell you when you install that all you can scan for free is 10 receipts. How I got to 17 for free is a mystery. After that they make you pay. How can you evaluate the software if you can't even scan a single week worth of receipts? There's also an ominous message that this is only a 7 day trial version. Obviously this app is not for me.

I am (sorry, was) a private (non corporate) user of Expensify. Latest updates reduced the reporting capabilities and this software is not user-friendly anymore. I leave 2 stars due to excellent OCR function. You should create a private user option without the approval options (reports).

Customer service is terrible. Only messages your back a computer automated response once every 5 hours. Do not use this app if you want a reliable place to transfer money.

Your App was sensational and I recommend it widely. The camera functionality got steadily worse and now it is the slowest app I have on my phone. The UI for uploading expenses contains time wasting nested features. Please update how you source information when up dating the app. Agile iterations right? This is a clumsy cut.

Can't read the line items due to half the font getting cut off. When I adjust the font size on my system, it renders the font illegible. I have to make the font extra small just to see the design layout correctly, however this makes the font too small to read on my Oneplus T5.

They had a good app but they won't leave it alone. Every time they change something it breaks. Their customer support SUCKS!!! The only thing they have is a message board that acts like a chat window but it takes them hours to respond. There is NO customer support. I would stay away from them if you are running any type of serious business until they can provide support.

Still pretty busted, much like last time I tried it. My company uses Expensify and while the website is pretty good, this app isn't. Example: if you're anywhere with slow or slightly spotty data coverage, the app will often get stuck in a state where you can't do *anything*. You can't create a report, you can't address violations, you can't even look at existing receipts. The app will just keep spawning popover dialogs like "Oops, an error occurred. Try again later." Use the website; stay away from the app for anything but taking pictures of receipts.

This CrApp is completely useless to me now. I will be proposing my company change expense accounts.

Core functionality is fine, but the smartscanning is ridiculous. It takes upwards of 10 minutes (sometimes longer?) for an automated process that would take me literally seconds to manually fill in. That's defeating the purpose. Sometimes it gets stuck in a loop 'checking -> please wait for violations to be fixed' where it won't let me edit the expense for minutes as well. Additionally, the app has usability problems, like cropping 'most recently used' expense category names such that you cannot distinguish between them, rather than wrapping the text identifiers.

App does not function properly. Camera distorts receipts, app frequently leaves a dialog box on the screen to verify email, even though this is done. Dialog box remains on screen until phone is reset. Rubbish.

Ok just shortly used this app. Great until they ask you for a credit card number without a pricing sticker on it. Don't know about you but I just don't throw that info out without knowing what and how much I'm paying for.

I e tried repeatedly to upgrade to the paid version so I can link to QuickBooks. But it won't let me. Not sure what the problem is. Scanning receipts and creating categories is actually quite easy. I really like the app and would love to continue using but I need it to do more.

And organizer of expenses. Only complaint is the mileage tracker function locks up often. Most recent update does not offer a "decimal point" on the number pad when entering in the expense value. Please fix.

I must be missing something. Apparently it's just a 7 day trial and it wants me to add a billing card but nowhere does it tell me how much it is. That's shady.

New UI is ok, but the tool still is still the best on the market in terms of usability and flexibility! Love it.

Doesn't mention it's a one week free trial until you've created an account. Not something I'm about to pay for.

Submits reports in the middle of the night while I'm asleep, and duplicates expenses that I have to manually delete.

Slow, bugs, slow, bugs... Also very slow and a lot of bugs
