About Everyday Calories
A simple and free way to work out how many calories you burn everyday walking, running, or just going up the stairs! Just enter a few simple details into this calorie calculator and see the calories you burnt. Simple!
Pick from either a "Simple" or "Advanced" mode for all three walking, running and stepping options depending on how much you want to enter:
- Simple walking mode lets you enter your weight, how long you were walking, and pick from a set of common walking speeds ranging from a slow amble of 2mph right to power walking speed of 5mph! Advanced walking mode lets you enter a specific distance and time combination to get exact calculations.
- Simple running mode lets you enter your weight, how long you were running, and how far you went. Advanced running mode lets you enter the gradient or grade, for example if you were running up a 1-in-20 grade hill you can enter 0.05.
- Simple stepping mode lets you enter your weight and how many steps you went up. Advanced stepping mode adds how high each step was, and also how fast you went up them in steps per minute.
You can enter your weight as kilograms (KG) or pounds and your distances as miles or kilometres (KM) - its up to you and its easy to change your mind at any time.
Although simple to use, this app is built to use scientific and accurate algorithms from the American College of Sports Medicine. So if you want to walk, run or step your way to a healthier and fitter life then this app will give you an accurate calorie calculation for your calorie burn.
