قد أخذ شهيد المنبر الحسيني العلامة الحجة السيد جواد شبر(رحمه الله) على عاتقه تدوين موسوعة تظم بين دفيتها ما نظمه الشعراء العرب في الإمام الحسين(ع) من يوم الفاجعة وإلى القرن الرابع عشر.
ومن الجدير جمع هذا التراث الضخم ضمن موسوعة متكاملة تبين عظمة ما رسمه شعراء أهل البيت(ع)، لكن من البديهي أن جمع ذلك التراث الضخم الذي يناهز عمره أربعة عشر قرناً لا يتأتى من شخص وأشخاص بل حتى من مؤسسة وإن كانت ضخمة.
وقد أشار في مقدمة الموسوعة إلى ما ندعيه بقوله: (ولا اريد أن أجمع كل ما جاء من شعر الشعراء في الامام الحسين ويوم الحسين ولا أقدر أن أقوم بذلك بل غايتي أن أعرض نماذج من شعرهم وأعدد أسماءهم وأدوارهم وعصورهم).
ولله درّه فقد دوّن للأجيال موسوعة متكاملة، جمع فيها درراً ثمينة، رصّعها بشرح وتوضيح أضاف إلى كمالها كمالاً، في توبيب وتقسيم وتنظيم كشأن كل موسوعة.
وجاءت محاولة إعداد هذا التطبيق ..تثميناً لجهده، وتخليداً لأثره، وتوسيعاً لدائرة الاستفادة من هذا العمل الخالد.
