يقدم الفقه الإسلامي وأدلته ويشتمل على الأدلة الشرعية وأهم النظريات الفقهية ويحقق الأحاديث النبوية ويخرجها ويلحق به فهرسة الفبائية للموضوعات وأهم المسائل الفقهية.
تغطي هذه الموسوعة موضوعات الفقه الإسلامي على المذاهب الفقهية المعروفة بأسلوب في الكتابة جديد؛ بحيث تبسط ألفاظه، وتنظم موضوعاته، وتبين مراميه، وتربط اجتهاداته بالمصادر الأصلية ، وتيسِّر على الباحث طريق الرجوع إليه للاستفادة منه في التقنين.
تعرض الموسوعة آراء ثمانية من فقهاء المذاهب معتمدةً على الدليل، مع بيان صحة الأحاديث التي استندوا إليها، وتركز على الجوانب العملية التي تمسّ الحاجة إليها .. وترجح الرأي الذي يبدو لمؤلفها أصح من بين الآراء.
تبدأ الموسوعة بعد المقدمة بالكلام على مقدمات الفقه الضرورية، تعقبها بلمحة موجزة عن فقهاء المذاهب الثمانية؛ أبي حنيفة، ومالك، والشافعي، وأحمد، وداود الظاهري، وزيد بن علي وجعفر الصادق، وجابر بن زيد .. ثم تشير إلى مصطلحاتهم وأسباب اختلافهم .. وتقدم الضوابط الشرعية للأخذ بأيسر المذاهب.
