Twidere for Twitter

Unless the media preview because its too big and looks inconvenient. Update : now it has a new feature "media preview style" though it doesn't seem to make any difference. I wish for it to be small thumbnail size.

This app has been the smoothest third party Twitter app I've seen. I like how there isn't too much settings as well so it isn't too redundant. I also like how they implement the themes not heavy and very simple. Thank you!

I love this app. Twitter wouldn't let me save pics after updating phone, but this app does. I've been able to save gifs and pics without trouble, like it better than twitter.

Hands down, this is the best Twitter app out there. I have actually bought the advanced features just to give something back to the developer for creating an awesome, feature rich, open source greatness of an app. And the ???? of this cake is the advanced filtering, will save you great deal of scrolling time, getting exactly the info you are looking for. Thanks a lot for your time and efforts, keep it up.

When I switch the user and retweet the message of the former user the dialog still shows the icon of the former user instead of the currently selected user. When I send a colored emotion from a desktop computer it shows up as the standard emoticon followed by a boxed X character. - Why is there no/limited search results for hashtags when I search via the app but not when I user the website?

Great client, except I never could figure out how to make push notifications work. There's no tutorial, unlike other apps.

Refreshing timeline and loading of media works intermittently.

Doesn't have a way to delete dm's. Nice themes though.

Does what it says. Plus, it's open-source!! What's not to like about it?

Best looking and working Twitter client I've seen in a long time. The devs keep it updated frequently. I really enjoy using it!

Edit: Can you pls fix Twitlonger extension? It used to work 5-6 months back but now it doesn't. Wonderful app. Currently twitter polls are not visible and cannot be voted on from the app. It'd be great if you can find a way to make it possible from within the app

Struggling to find a simple replacement for the official Twitter app, and this is nearly it but seems quite buggy. Adding multiple accounts means notifications and DMs get mixed together in the tabs, which is annoying (there's a setting to apparently turn this off and on but this doesn't work). Also, their 'notifications' tab only shows replies, not retweets and likes, as the official app does. Annoyingly, the official app doesn't work on my phone so the search continues. It looks great, but Twidere just has too many bugs for me at the moment.

Best Twitter client I've tried, but it's still missing too many features for me to use it regularly. I need to be able to see whether tweets have replies, so I don't risk expanding them in vain when my connection is slow and that takes a while. Would also appreciate thread collapsing on the timeline.

Used to be my favourite app but EXTREMELY laggy for the past couple of months. Has happened before but resolved itself, now the issue is back. Can't scroll more than a few seconds before the app stalling and becoming unresponsive, sometimes even crashing. Takes up to A MINUTE to unfreeze or to even load the initial tweets.

Changing my review due to the fact that this app is by far the biggest battery drain app on my phone. I have another twitter app that doesn't do this. It also misses tweets, as it only seems to load the last 20 each time.

Really like this app. Seems to have lost the lag it's been suffering from. Back to ***** stars!

Seriously my fav twitter app. Great customisation, lightweight and functional. Just wish we could see notifications like who faved and rted our tweets,followed,etc. Would also love an update for the new character limit.

Love this app, but uninstalling because I have no menu/setting options on my phone, or tablet. I can't even search.

Great app! Way better than the original Twitter app! Only thing is I would rather let the manual refresh stay at the place you were instead of going to the top. I would give it 5 starts, but my search tab will not work (Error195). However the search option in the menu left works totally fine! Keep it going!

Like it! Started looking around for a client that didn't mess my timeline up and this is so much better than the official app. Wish the manual refresh would stay where you are on the timeline rather than going to top. Otherwise perfect.
