Great app, very crisp. Seasonal menus need to be nested (so you don't need to scroll 200m to reach 27th Sunday in OT). Would love it to contain the Commons, Ferias and Votive Masses.

by X####:

Great app for help with chant! May I suggest also adding Propers for the 1920 Roman Missal promulgated by Benedict XV. This would cover the pre-1955 Holy Week for communities using those liturgical rites.

U70%
by U####:

The application is good overall. Just... there are some propers which are not yet been inserted for EF. One of the chants is Dies Irae, the Sequence for Mass of the Dead.

I bought. I chanted solo mediocrely to a hymn. Then I chanted better along with app's melody feature. 5 Stars - Would chant again.

by X####:

Extraordinary app. I like to hear it sung in a voice I can imitate. Pretty, pretty please!?

C70%

Shockingly easy to use. What an absolute delight! I only wish the paleography from the St. Gall and Laon manuscripts were available. U >

Finally - an app worthy of the saints! Was sorely needed and doesn't disappoint.

Y70%

A fantastic tool. Looking forward to using this for improvising over some chants!

Z70%

This app is more than a tool - it's an opportunity for choirs and congregatoons - parishes.

X70%
by X####:

Fantastic practice aid for those who already know how to read and sing chant.

X70%
by X####:

A great help for a priest in offering the sacred liturgies. I look forward to seeing additional chant hymns added.

I loved this until it was updated a few days ago. Now it won't work.

I love how many chants are on here, such an awesome compilation! However please consider a "how to chant if you're a newb guide" with a few examples sung to break the proverbial ice. Considering this is kind of a blast from the past with harmonic inflections that are not commonly sung, it honestly took me a moment to figure out which tone matched the syllable and I'm still a little unsure. A little mercy Father/Brother on us green saplings!

This is a really nice app. My only regret is that the Schola I used to sing with is currently inactive, but this would have been an enormous help. I'm looking forward to to singing again in the future and will definitely recommend this app. It's really implemented nicely, and looks great. Having all the Propers and Ordinaries is really great, too. I was able to quickly find the chants I'm familiar with.

Really beautiful. Organized well. Suggestion: English translations - not to be matched up with the notes, but it's nice to have an idea ofwhat I'm singing. Also chants to consider adding: O antiphons, the Exultet.

I would have preferred to email the developer about problems I am having with the playback. I have a Motorola Moto G, Android and every once in awhile a note sticks while the display prompt for the text continues. I love the app and would gladly change rating if this were fixed.

#GotChant? If not, you should! Great app for learning/practicing the "proper" (pun intended) music of the Church. Well designed app, and with a lot of chants available already - hopefully the devs will continue to update with more. One comment to the devs... If you are using GregoBase you should really be giving credit. A lot of hard work went into doing that, even if it is Creative Commons license.

The numbering of Sundays for Easter in the EF is off. The Sunday after Easter is not "2nd Sunday of Easter" its "Quasimodo Sunday" or "Low Sunday". All the other dates as a result do not match up with the Liber Usualis. 3rd is actually 2nd, 4th is 3rd, etc. If anyone were using this app and their Priest said "prepare for the 3rd Sunday of easter" they would end up learning the incorrect propers. This is extremely basic stuff and it's surprising the app developers missed it. It's also missing "Sunday after the accession" and skips straight to Pentacost. Key and ESSENTIAL Sequences are missing! Where is "Victimae Paschali" for Easter Sunday? Where is the Sequence for Pentacost? These are indispensable! I admire the efforts of the Oblates of St Joseph but this app is essentially unusable for the EF unless you already have a Liber Breivor or Liber Usualis to reference back to.

Absolutely fantastic app. Very well presented, runs very smoothly. Beats using the pdf liber! The only thing which will make it perfect is inclusion of the chants for divine office, and all the sanctoral cycle. Additional suggestion - it would be great to have a function to add annotations to chants with a drawing function, if possible.
